The Strategic Miscalculation of US Imperialism

A tactical victory, but a strategic miscalculation. That is how Trump acts in everything. He has waged a so-called “tariff war,” boasting that he has extracted vast sums of money from other countries, yet in the end it has only led to rising domestic prices and the weakening of the dollar’s hegemony. It is the folly of gaining ten while losing a hundred or even a thousand. And still, there seems to be no alternative. Can a leopard change its spots? For an imperialist, no other path appears to exist.
Just as he attempts to resolve his country’s massive debt by plundering the wealth of others, he has now gone so far as to kidnap the head of state of another country, claiming this will solve the problems inside of the US. As a result, the Trump administration is permanently branded with the labels “robber” and “aggressor.” Although the Trump government wants to insist that this is not a war, even the US Congress itself rebuts that claim and calls it a war. Trump may desire the title of “guardian of peace,” but he has instead placed upon himself the hat of “instigator of war.” In doing so, the Trump administration has provoked a “second Caribbean crisis” and has begun sinking deeply into the quagmire of this new battlefield. History will record this as a strategic error, for while unable to manage the Eastern European front and the West Asian (Middle Eastern) front, it has created yet another battlefield, thereby limiting its own capacity to prepare for an imminent conflict in East Asia.
Through this unprecedentedly brutal and lawless violence, the imperialist Trump administration has turned the Venezuelan people, the people of Latin America, and people throughout the world into its enemies. Under the US imperialist National Security Strategy (NSS), which seeks to turn Latin America into a “backyard,” the atrocities committed by medieval Spanish conquerors are being reenacted in the full light of the 21st century. Who could applaud in support of such barbarism?
Even the allies of the US are openly denouncing this as an act of tyranny that tramples on the UN Charter—this speaks volumes. Furthermore, it must not be forgotten that the US has turned even its own conscientious, rational, and peace-oriented forces into enemies. For instance, even the MAGA movement is increasingly revolting against these policies of the Trump administration. While US imperialism may still appear powerful, the very fact that it must devise such complex and desperate maneuvers is clear evidence of its distinct decline. It may look grand on the outside, but it is nothing more than a “hollow shell.” Though it claims not a single person was hurt, the stigma of being “imperialist aggressors” has once again been branded upon all Americans. Now that the imperialist-aggressor nature of the Trump administration has been reaffirmed for the whole world to see, it is only a matter of time before the anti-US, anti-imperialist struggle spreads like wildfire across the globe. After all, imperialism diligently marches toward its own strategic defeat and ultimate destruction.
The world has begun to take note of the fact that the Venezuela issue is becoming the Taiwan issue—and, ultimately, the “Republic of Korea (ROK)” issue. Even conservative geopolitical analysts have started to invoke Taiwan in their assessments. They argue that the US move to place Venezuela under its control could accelerate a similar scenario involving China and Taiwan. This view is partly correct—and partly mistaken. China regards the raising of the Taiwan issue in connection with developments in Venezuela and Iran as an act of internationalist practice and comradely solidarity, aimed at shielding other anti-imperialist states. In fact, late last year China carried out an encirclement operation around Taiwan, an action that clearly carried the character of a final rehearsal. It was no coincidence that, on the very day President Maduro was captured, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) conducted a hypersonic missile launch exercise. It is a widely known open secret that China’s war in Taiwain is closely linked to the DPRK’s war in the “ROK.” Russia, meanwhile, is already engaged in the war in Ukraine.
For China, Taiwan is historically and nationally an unmistakable object of national reunification. For the DPRK, the ‘ROK’ has for five thousand years been part of a single nation. For Russia, the territories east of the Dnieper River in Ukraine constitute “Novorossiya.” But who on earth would regard Venezuela as one with the United States? The same applies to the Panama Canal, to Canada, and to Greenland. The United States must first face the reality that the deepening divisions within its own society are making civil war increasingly unavoidable. Creating international crises in order to obscure domestic problems may offer temporary relief, but as history has proven time and again, it ultimately produces even greater—and fatal—strategic crises.
US imperialism, fronting Israli Zionists, is now thrashing about in an attempt to overthrow even Iran. This is why ts long as imperialism exists, economic blockades, military attacks, and “Color Revolutions” will continue. Imperialists and Zionists have yet to fully grasp how grave the consequences will be of provoking Iran, a military power on an entirely different level from Syria. Before long, US imperialism will awaken in terror to the cliff-edge reality that it has turned Latin America not into its “backyard,” but into its grave. The imperialist Trump, unintentionally, has made Maduro a hero of the era. Across the world, the people are now raising together the strategic slogan, “Down with imperialism!”, and the mass slogan, “Free Maduro!” The fundamental strategy of our era is anti-imperialist independence and people’s democracy. Anti-imperialist independence is people’s democracy, and people’s democracy is anti-imperialist independence. The heroic epic “Nicolás,” which portrays an anti-imperialist fighter and a leader of the people, has not ended. It is only that a villain of historic proportions has appeared, intensifying the drama.

Tout comme il tente de résoudre la dette colossale de son pays en pillant les richesses des autres, il est maintenant allé jusqu’à kidnapper le chef d’État d’un autre pays, affirmant que cela résoudra les problèmes internes des États-Unis. En conséquence, l’administration Trump est définitivement marquée du sceau de « voleur » et d’« agresseur ». Bien que le gouvernement Trump veuille insister sur le fait qu’il ne s’agit pas d’une guerre, même le Congrès américain lui-même réfute cette affirmation et parle de guerre. Dans le cadre de la stratégie de sécurité nationale (NSS) impérialiste américaine, qui vise à transformer l’Amérique latine en « arrière-cour », les atrocités commises par les conquérants espagnols médiévaux sont reproduites en plein XXIe siècle. Qui pourrait applaudir et soutenir une telle barbarie ? Même les alliés des États-Unis dénoncent ouvertement cet acte de tyrannie qui bafoue la Charte des Nations unies, ce qui en dit long.
De plus, il ne faut pas oublier que les États-Unis ont même transformé leurs propres forces consciencieuses, rationnelles et pacifistes en ennemis. Si l’impérialisme américain peut encore sembler puissant, le fait même qu’il doive concevoir des manœuvres aussi complexes et désespérées est une preuve évidente de son déclin manifeste. Bien qu’il affirme qu’aucune personne n’a été blessée, le stigmate d’« agresseurs impérialistes » a une fois de plus été apposé sur tous les Américains. Maintenant que la nature impérialiste et agressive de l’administration Trump a été réaffirmée aux yeux du monde entier, ce n’est qu’une question de temps avant que la lutte anti-américaine et anti-impérialiste ne se propage comme une traînée de poudre à travers le globe. Après tout, l’impérialisme marche avec diligence vers sa propre défaite stratégique et sa destruction ultime.

C’est un secret de polichinelle largement connu que la guerre de la Chine à Taïwan est étroitement liée à la guerre de la RPDC en « Corée du Sud ». La Russie, quant à elle, est déjà engagée dans la guerre en Ukraine.
