A commemoration ceremony was held in Ankara for Deniz Gezmiş, Yusuf Aslan, and Hüseyin İnan, who were executed on May 6, 1972.
Members of the Struggle Union Platform and the Revolutionary Students’ Union gathered at the cemetery where the THKO leaders and their comrades are buried. Participants held a march at the gravesite, carrying banners and chanting slogans.
The banners included messages such as “We Must Be Like Deniz Against Imperialism,” “On the Path of the Denizs to Overthrow Imperialism,” and “Now Is the Time for Revolution.” The event also paid tribute to other comrades buried in the same cemetery.
The commemoration took place peacefully and drew attention from participants honoring the legacy of the three leaders and their movement.
