THE UNION OF SOCIALIST DEMOCRATS DEMANDS THE IMMEDIATE RELEASE OF ANTI-IMPERIALIST COMRADES ARRESTED IN KENYA
The Union of Socialist Democrats, Co-Initiating Member of the International Socialist Network SOVINTERN, condemns with the utmost firmness the repression carried out against militants, trade unionists, young patriots and anti-imperialist comrades in Kenya.
The UDS denounces the arbitrary arrests, intimidations, police violence and violations of democratic freedoms exercised against those who fight for the sovereignty of African peoples, social justice, human dignity and the end of imperialist domination over our continent.
The struggle of our Comrades is a legitimate struggle. It is part of the long tradition of fights against exploitation, corruption, and the misery imposed by neocolonialist policies and submission to foreign interests.
The UDS states clearly that criminalizing revolutionary and progressive voices will never silence our peoples’ aspirations for freedom and emancipation.
The Union of Socialist Democrats demands the immediate and unconditional release of all political prisoners and anti-imperialist militants detained in Kenya, the cessation of prosecutions and acts of harassment against popular and progressive organizations, and the respect of fundamental democratic freedoms, including freedom of expression, organization and demonstration.
The UDS calls on the progressive, pan-Africanist, trade union and democratic forces of Africa and the world to express their solidarity with the Comrades arrested in Kenya, and to mobilize against repression.
Solidarity among peoples is our weapon.
The struggle for sovereignty and social justice continues.

L’UNION DES DÉMOCRATES SOCIALISTES RÉCLAME LA LIBÉRATION IMMÉDIATE DES CAMARADES ANTI-IMPÉRIALISTES ARRÊTÉS AU KENYA
L’Union des Démocrates Socialistes, Membre Co-Initiateur du Réseau Socialiste International SOVINTERN, condamne avec la plus grande fermeté la répression menée contre les militants, syndicalistes, jeunes patriotes et camarades anti-impérialistes au Kenya.
L’UDS dénonce les arrestations arbitraires, les intimidations, les violences policières et les atteintes aux libertés démocratiques exercées contre celles et ceux qui se battent pour la souveraineté des peuples africains, la justice sociale, la dignité humaine et la fin de la domination impérialiste sur notre continent.
Le combat de nos Camarades est un combat légitime. Il s’inscrit dans la longue tradition des luttes contre l’exploitation, la corruption, la misère imposée par les politiques néocolonialistes et la soumission aux intérêts étrangers.
L’UDS affirme clairement que criminaliser les voix révolutionnaires et progressistes ne fera jamais taire les aspirations de nos peuples à la liberté et à l’émancipation.
L’Union des Démocrates Socialistes exige la libération immédiate et sans condition de tous les prisonniers politiques et militants anti-impérialistes détenus au Kenya, l’arrêt des poursuites et des actes de harcèlement contre les organisations populaires et progressistes, le respect des libertés démocratiques fondamentales, notamment la liberté d’expression, d’organisation et de manifestation.
L’UDS appelle les forces progressistes, panafricanistes, syndicales et démocratiques d’Afrique et du monde à exprimer leur solidarité avec les Camarades arrêtés au Kenya, et à se mobiliser contre la répression.
La solidarité entre les peuples est notre arme.
La lutte pour la souveraineté et la justice sociale continue.
