The Workers’ Party of Chile with Evo Morales in Lauca Ñ, Bolivia
While Bolivia is experiencing decisive days of popular mobilization, the Workers’ Party of Chile and the Sovereign Left (Izquierda Soberanista) are present in Lauca Ñ, the political and organizational epicenter of the Bolivian popular movement. It was here that the Ordinary Expanded Assembly of the Coordination of the Six Federations of the Tropics of Cochabamba took place, led by Commander Evo Morales Ayma.
More than two thousand assembly members, hailing from the six municipalities that make up this historic region of struggle, gathered to deliberate on the national situation and coordinate the actions of the resistance and mobilization process currently unfolding across the entire Bolivian territory. In parallel, road blockades and various protest actions continue, expressing the growing popular discontent and the demand for the resignation of the government of Rodrigo Paz Pereira.
In the midst of this momentous gathering, the voice of internationalist solidarity made itself heard. Diego Guzmán, the political head of the Youth-Student Commission of the Workers’ Party of Chile, addressed a greeting to brother Evo Morales and the more than two thousand delegates present, conveying the support of the conscious Chilean people, as well as the militancy of the Workers’ Party of Chile and the Sovereign Left, for the struggles being waged by the Bolivian people for their dignity, sovereignty, and self-determination.
The gathering in Lauca Ñ is the living expression of an organized people who refuse to renounce their historical destiny. There, in the lands of the Cochabamba Tropics—where the popular struggle has resisted coups, persecutions, and criminalization campaigns—thousands of men and women reaffirmed their commitment to defending national sovereignty and the rights won by the great majorities.
The presence of the Chilean delegation takes on special relevance in a continental context marked by the offensive of global power centers against the peoples of Our America (Nuestra América). In the face of attempts at economic, political, and cultural subordination driven by a declining imperialism, new forms of articulation are emerging among the patriotic, popular, and sovereignist forces of the continent.
The Workers’ Party of Chile and the Sovereign Left continue to strengthen the bonds of fraternity and cooperation with struggling peoples. The Bolivian experience demonstrates that popular organization remains a fundamental tool to confront the policies of plundering strategic resources, the destruction of national states, and the loss of sovereignty promoted by globalist elites.
From Lauca Ñ, a signal rises that crosses borders: the peoples of Latin America are not willing to surrender. In the mountains, in the valleys, in the cities, and in the fields, the conviction grows that the defense of sovereignty and social justice requires unity, organization, and struggle.
The presence of the Workers’ Party of Chile and the Sovereign Left in Bolivia constitutes one more step in building that great continental alliance of sovereign peoples—an alliance called upon to face the challenges of our time and to pave the way toward a Latin America that is free, dignified, and master of its own destiny.

Partido del Trabajo de Chile con Evo Morales en Lauca Ñ, Bolivia
Mientras Bolivia vive jornadas decisivas de movilización popular, el Partido del Trabajo de Chile e Izquierda Soberanista están presentes en Lauca Ñ, epicentro político y organizativo del movimiento popular boliviano, donde se desarrolló el Ampliado Ordinario de la Coordinadora de las Seis Federaciones del Trópico de Cochabamba, encabezado por el comandante Evo Morales Ayma.
Más de dos mil asambleístas, provenientes de los seis municipios que conforman esta histórica región de lucha, se congregaron para deliberar sobre la coyuntura nacional y coordinar las acciones del proceso de resistencia y movilización que hoy se despliega en todo el territorio boliviano. En paralelo, continúan los cortes de rutas y diversas acciones de protesta que expresan el creciente descontento popular y la exigencia de renuncia del gobierno de Rodrigo Paz Pereira.
En medio de este trascendental encuentro, la voz de la solidaridad internacionalista se hizo escuchar. Diego Guzmán, responsable político de la Comisión Juvenil-Estudiantil del Partido del Trabajo de Chile, dirigió un saludo al hermano Evo Morales y a los más de dos mil delegados presentes, transmitiendo el respaldo del pueblo chileno consciente, de la militancia del Partido del Trabajo de Chile y de Izquierda Soberanista a las luchas que libra el pueblo boliviano por su dignidad, soberanía y autodeterminación.
El encuentro de Lauca Ñ es la expresión viva de un pueblo organizado que se niega a renunciar a su destino histórico. Allí, en las tierras del Trópico cochabambino, donde la lucha popular ha resistido golpes, persecuciones y campañas de criminalización, miles de hombres y mujeres reafirmaron su compromiso con la defensa de la soberanía nacional y los derechos conquistados por las grandes mayorías.
La presencia de la delegación chilena adquiere una relevancia especial en un contexto continental marcado por la ofensiva de los centros de poder global contra los pueblos de Nuestra América. Frente a los intentos de subordinación económica, política y cultural impulsados por el imperialismo en decadencia, emergen nuevas formas de articulación entre las fuerzas patrióticas, populares y soberanistas del continente.
El Partido del Trabajo de Chile e Izquierda Soberanista continúan fortaleciendo los vínculos de fraternidad y cooperación con los pueblos que luchan. La experiencia boliviana demuestra que la organización popular sigue siendo una herramienta fundamental para enfrentar las políticas de saqueo de los recursos estratégicos, la destrucción de los Estados nacionales y la pérdida de soberanía que promueven las élites globalistas.
Desde Lauca Ñ se levanta una señal que atraviesa las fronteras: los pueblos de América Latina no están dispuestos a rendirse. En las montañas, en los valles, en las ciudades y en los campos, crece la convicción de que la defensa de la soberanía y la justicia social requiere unidad, organización y lucha.
La presencia del Partido del Trabajo de Chile e Izquierda Soberanista en Bolivia constituye un paso más en la construcción de esa gran alianza continental de los pueblos soberanos, una alianza llamada a enfrentar los desafíos de nuestro tiempo y a abrir camino hacia una América Latina libre, digna y dueña de su propio destino.
