The contact between the DPRK and the U.S. is only a ‘hope’ of the U.S.
Pyongyang, July 29 (KCNA) — Kim Yo Jong, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Monday issued the following statement titled “The contact between the DPRK and the U.S. is only a ‘hope’ of the U.S.”:
Shortly ago, a person in authority of the White House said that the president stabilized the situation on the Korean peninsula and reached the first top-level agreement on denuclearization through the three DPRK-U.S. summit meetings during his first term of office and that he is still open to dialogue with the DPRK leader for achieving the complete denuclearization of the DPRK.
We do not want to give any meaning to the U.S. side’s unilateral assessment of the past DPRK-U.S. dialogue.
It is worth taking into account the fact that the year 2025 is neither 2018 nor 2019.
The recognition of the irreversible position of the DPRK as a nuclear weapons state and the hard fact that its capabilities and geopolitical environment have radically changed should be a prerequisite for predicting and thinking everything in the future.
No one can deny the reality and should not misunderstand.
Any attempt to deny the position of the DPRK as a nuclear weapons state which was established along with the existence of a powerful nuclear deterrent and fixed by the supreme law reflecting the unanimous will of all the DPRK people will be thoroughly rejected.
The DPRK is open to any option in defending its present national position.
There should be a minimum judgment to admit that it is by no means beneficial to each other for the two countries possessed of nuclear weapons to go in a confrontational direction, and if so, it would be advisable to seek another way of contact on the basis of such new thinking.
I do not want to deny the fact that the personal relationship between the head of our state and the present U.S. president is not bad.
However, if the personal relations between the top leaders of the DPRK and the U.S. are to serve the purpose of denuclearization, it can be interpreted as nothing but a mockery of the other party.
If the U.S. fails to accept the changed reality and persists in the failed past, the DPRK-U.S. meeting will remain as a “hope” of the U.S. side.
El contacto entre la RPDC y EE.UU. no es más que una ‘esperanza’ del segundo
Pyongyang, 29 de julio (ACNC) — La subjefa de departamento del Comité Central del Partido del Trabajo de Corea, Kim Yo Jong, hizo pública el día 28 una declaración intitulada “El contacto entre la RPDC y EE.UU. no es más que una ‘esperanza’ del segundo”.
Recientemente, la autoridad de la Casa Blanca de EE.UU. dijo que su presidente estabilizó la Península Coreana y logró el primer acuerdo de nivel de dignatario sobre la desnuclearización mediante las 3 Cumbres RPDC-EE.UU. sostenidas durante su primer mandato, y que está listo para abrir el diálogo con el Dirigente de la RPDC a fin de alcanzar la desnuclearización completa de Corea.
No queremos conceder ningún significado a la evaluación unilateral de la parte estadounidense en cuanto a los pasados diálogos entre dos países.
Es necesario darse cuenta de que no estamos en el 2018 ni el 2019, sino en el 2025.
Nuestro Estado ya ha obtenido la posición irreversible del país poseedor de armas nucleares y se han cambiado radicalmente su capacidad y la situación geopolítica.
El reconocimiento de este hecho irrefutable deberá ser tomado como premisa en prever y meditar lo todo del futuro.
Nadie puede negar esta realidad ni debe equivocarse.
Será rechazado de manera tajante cualquier intención de desaprobar la posición de nuestro Estado como país poseedor de armas nucleares, establecida junto con la existencia del predominante disuasivo nuclear y estipulada como ley suprema según la unánime voluntad de todo el pueblo coreano.
La RPDC se valdrá de todas las opciones para defender su actual posición.
Ha de tener el menor juicio capaz de reconocer el hecho de que la confrontación entre dos países nucleares no es beneficiosa para ambas partes.
Entonces, sería mejor que buscara otra vía de contacto consistente en nuevo modo de pensamiento.
No quiero negar el hecho de que nuestro Líder del Estado y el actual mandatario de EE.UU. mantienen las relaciones individuales no malas.
Pero, si se las aprovechan para alcanzar la meta de realizar desnuclearización, esto no puede entenderse más que como una burla a la contraparte.
Si EE.UU. sigue obsesionando en el pasado fracasado sin aceptar la realidad ya cambiada, su contacto con la RPDC le quedará sólo como una “esperanza”.
Контакт между КНДР и США – это всего лишь 〈надежда〉 США
Пхеньян, 29 июля. /ЦТАК/– Заместитель заведующего отделом ЦК ТПК Ким Ё Чен 28 июля опубликовала заявление для прессы «Контакт между КНДР и США – это всего лишь 〈надежда〉 США».
Ниже следует полный текст заявления.
Недавно хозяин Белого дома сказал, что при первом президентстве он осуществил стабилизацию обстановки на Корейском полуострове и достиг на высшем уровне первой договоренности о денуклеаризации, и по-прежнему он открыт к диалогу с лидером КНДР для осуществления полной денуклеаризации Кореи.
Мы не хотим придавать никакого значения односторонней оценке прошлых корейско-американских переговоров со стороны США.
Однако стоит напомнить, что текущий 2025 год – это не 2018 или 2019 год.
Признание необратимого статуса нашего государства – обладателя ядерного оружия, его способности и такого ясного факта, что геополитическая обстановка менялась коренным образом, должно быть предпосылкой для дальнейших всех предположений и размышлений.
Никто не может отрицать реальность, также нельзя ошибаться.
Последовательно будут отвергнуты любые попытки отрицать ядерный статус нашего государства, который сформирован вместе с обладанием мощной ядерной силой сдерживания и закреплен высшим законом по общей воле всего корейского народа.
КНДР открыта к любому выбору для защиты своего нынешнего государственного статуса.
Наверное, нужна хоть минимальная проницательность для признания такой логики, что конфронтация между двумя ядерными государствами отнюдь невыгодна друг другу, и тогда лучше бы искать другой выход на контакт, исходя из нового подхода.
Я не хочу отрицать то, что личные отношения между главой нашего государства и нынешним президентом США не плохие.
Но, если личные отношения между главами КНДР и США будут связаны с целью осуществления денуклеаризации, то это не может оцениваться иначе, как издевательством над визави.
Если США не поймут изменения реальности и будут цепляться только за прошлую неудачу, то встреча между КНДР и США останется только «надеждой» США.
朝美接触只是美国的‘希望’
朝中社平壤７月２９日电 朝鲜劳动党中央委员会副部长金与正２８日发表谈话“朝美接触只是美国的‘希望’”。全文如下：
美国白宫当局日前表示，总统第一任期与朝方进行三轮峰会，稳定朝鲜半岛局势，达成了关于无核化的首份首脑级协议；对意在实现朝鲜完全无核化的同朝鲜领导人的对话依然持有开放态度。
美方单方面评价过去的朝美对话，我们对之不想赋予任何意义。
只是有必要提醒一下，眼下是２０２５年，而不是过去的２０１８年或２０１９年。
我国不可逆转的拥核国地位及其能力，以及地缘政治环境都发生根本变化。承认这一不可争辩的事实，应成为预测和思考今后一切的前提。
任何人都不能否认现实，也不能发生错觉。
我国的拥核国地位是与强大的核遏制力存在一道成立，并根据全体朝鲜人民的一致意愿以最高法律固定的，要否定它的任何试图必将遭到彻底的反对。
朝鲜民主主义人民共和国对维护自己当前国家地位的任何选项持开放态度。
两个拥核国家相持不下、走向对抗，这决不利于彼此。该有起码的判断力承认这点，那么，最好出于这一新思维方式寻找别的接触点。
我不想否认我们国家元首和美国现任总统之间的个人关系并不坏的事实。
但是，如果朝美首脑之间的个人关系和无核化目的置于一条线上，只会被解读为对对方的愚弄。
如果美国不接受变化了的现实，执著于失败的过去，朝美会晤只能停留在美方的“希望”。（完）
