On January 17, the World Anti-imperialist Platform held a screening in Madrid, Spain, of “Nicolás: The Origin,” the first part of the film Nicolás, which portrays the life of Nicolás Maduro, President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
The screening was held at the headquarters of the Communist Party of the Peoples of Spain (PCPE).
Members of the World Anti-imperialist Platform in Madrid and anti-imperialist activists attended the event. During the discussion that followed the screening, participants denounced the criminal act of U.S. imperialism in kidnapping the Venezuelan president and stressed the importance of strengthening anti-imperialist struggle in solidarity with Venezuela.
