CPA Mourns the Passing of Iran’s Supreme Leader

The leader of the Communist Party of Armenia, Yerjanik Ghazaryan, together with the party members, participated in the memorial ceremony organized on the occasion of the US and Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

During the ceremony, a meeting was held with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia, Khalil Shirgholam. The CPA leader expressed deep condolences to the Iranian people, emphasizing that the incident is a consequence of the US imperialist policy aimed at destabilizing the region.

During the conversation, it was noted that aggression against a sovereign state poses a threat to peace in the entire Middle East and strikes a blow to international security. Comrade Ghazaryan emphasized the importance of solidarity of peoples in the fight against external pressure and interference.

The CPA reaffirms its principled position to protect the sovereignty of states, the right of peoples to independent development, and resolutely condemn imperialist aggression.
