USA Must Accept the Iranian Negotiation Proposal and Withdraw from West Asia!

1. On April 11, a high-level meeting between Iran and the USA was held in Islamabad, Pakistan. Previously, Iran and the USA each presented their respective negotiation proposals, and on the 7th, US President Trump announced a 2-week ceasefire. The essence of the US proposal includes the immediate reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, the dismantling of Iran’s nuclear program, control over missiles and proxy forces, a 2-stage agreement structure, and conditional sanctions relief. In response, the core of the Iranian counter-proposal consists of the recognition of sovereignty and payment of war reparations, strengthening control over the Strait of Hormuz, the immediate and total lifting of sanctions, the retention of uranium enrichment rights, and the withdrawal of US troops from West Asia. Despite Trump’s erratic behavior and vicious threats of destruction—including a 48-hour ultimatum, a sudden 5-day stay, and rhetoric such as “You will be living in hell” and “No compromise”—Iran has handled the imperialist, fascistic warmonger with firm principles, ultimately drawing out a surprise announcement of a ceasefire.

2. Iran will never cease its just resistance. Outraged by the assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader and the mass slaughter of schoolgirls in Zeinab by the imperialist USA and Zionist Israel on February 28, Iran has risen in a life-and-death struggle against the USA and Zionism. The world has witnessed in real-time the atrocities committed by these top-tier war criminal forces. In response to the destruction of major Iranian facilities and the assassination of key figures by the USA and Israel, Iran has bombed the Israeli mainland, US military bases within the Persian Gulf, and intelligence hubs, while tightening its grip by blockading the Strait of Hormuz. In retaliation for Israel’s reckless bombing near the Bushehr nuclear plant, Iran attacked the perimeter of Israel’s Dimona nuclear facility. Furthermore, in response to the massive airstrikes on Lebanon, Iran is counterattacking by expanding the front to the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait. Meanwhile, Trump is facing his greatest political crisis both inside and outside the USA due to war costs exceeding at least $40 billion and crude oil prices reaching $120 per barrel. Trump’s decision for a ceasefire is not a declaration of victory, but a confession of defeat.

3. Trump persists in demanding Iran’s nuclear abandonment and refuses the withdrawal of US troops. Whether or not Iran arms itself with nuclear weapons is a decision for Iran to make. The fact that the aggressor, Israel, is a nuclear-armed state demonstrates that the victim of aggression, Iran, cannot be forced to abandon its nuclear program. Meanwhile, on the 12th of last month, the new Supreme Leader of Iran, Mojtaba Khamenei, issued a clarion call for the withdrawal and closure of all US military bases in West Asia. Iran consistently pursues the end of the war, not merely a ceasefire. The indispensable condition for this is the total removal of all US military bases in West Asia. The Iranian negotiation proposal, which seeks the independence, self-determination, peace, and stability of the West Asian region, is profoundly rational and based on common sense. The imperialist USA must entirely accept the Iranian proposal and withdraw from West Asia. The people of the world, enraged by the US and Israeli imperialist aggressors, are now with one voice crying out for the opposition to aggressive wars and the overthrow of imperialism. Imperialism is bound to perish. The day when the aspirations of humanity—independence and peace—are realized is not far off.
