On May 11 and 12 in Nairobi, Kenya, multiple communist and anti-imperialist activists were violently arrested by Kenyan police and military following a peaceful demonstration denouncing the « Africa-France Summit, » organized by French imperialists. Among those arrested are members of the Marxist Communist Party – Kenya, the Communist Party of Great Britain (ML), the People’s Democracy Party (Republic of Korea), as well as members of the international delegation of the Pan-African Summit Against Imperialism (PASAI). Among those arrested are members of the delegation of the World Anti-Imperialist Platform, an international organization of which we are part of.
Le Partisan québécois condemns this violent attack against our African and international comrades, upon whom batons and tear gas were used during peaceful demonstrations. We demand from the Ruto regime, lapdog of the imperialist Macron, the immediate release of our comrades illegally arrested by the police and military.
Le Partisan québécois reaffirms its unwavering support for Africa in the face of imperialism and neocolonialism by European and Western powers. European imperialists and their African compradors fear the will of the African peoples to break the chains of neocolonialism, and will use every means available, violent or otherwise, to suppress this movement. We must therefore redouble our efforts in the face of this new imperialist offensive.

Les 11 et 12 mai à Nairobi, au Kenya, plusieurs militants communistes et anti-impérialistes ont été violemment arrêtés par la police et l’armée kényanes à la suite d’une manifestation pacifique dénonçant le « Sommet Afrique-France », organisé par les impérialistes français. Parmi les militants arrêtés figurent des membres du Parti communiste marxiste du Kenya, du Parti communiste de Grande-Bretagne (ML), du Parti de la démocratie populaire (République de Corée), ainsi que des membres de la délégation internationale du Sommet panafricain contre l’impérialisme (PASAI). Parmi les arrêtés se trouvent des membres de la délégation de la Plateforme mondiale anti-impérialiste, une organisation internationale dont nous faisons partie.
Le Partisan québécois dénonce cette attaque violente contre nos camarades africains et internationaux, sur lesquels matraques et gaz lacrymogènes ont été utilisés lors de manifestations pacifiques. Nous exigeons du régime de Ruto, chien de garde de l’impérialiste Macron, la libération immédiate de nos camarades illégalement arrêtés par la police et l’armée.
Le Partisan québécois réaffirme son soutien indéfectible à l’Afrique face à l’impérialisme et au néocolonialisme des puissances européennes et occidentales. Les impérialistes européens et leurs compradores africains redoutent la volonté des peuples d’Afrique de briser les chaînes du néocolonialisme, et useront de tous les moyens, violents ou non, pour étouffer ce mouvement. Il nous faudra donc redoubler d’efforts face à cette nouvelle offensive impérialiste.
