[BREAKING] Shots Fired at Nairobi Central Police Station as Protesters Demand Release of Detained International Delegation

NAIROBI, KENYA — Tensions reached a breaking point today outside the Nairobi Central Police Station as Kenyan police fired live ammunition into the air to disperse activists demanding the immediate release of an international delegation.

The delegation of the World Anti-Imperialist Platform, has been reportedly held in illegal detention for over 40 hours.

Earlier today, a group of Kenyan activists and comrades marched to the Central Police Station to confront authorities and demand the freedom of the detained international delegation. Witnesses report that after a heated exchange of words with police officers, the situation turned violent.

As the protesters began to disperse, police units fired two live rounds into the air. The sudden gunfire caused panic, forcing the activists to flee the scene to avoid potential casualties.

The detention, which has now crossed the 40-hour mark, has sparked a frantic legal battle. Defense lawyers are currently filing an urgent court case under a “Certificate of Emergency.”

The World Anti-Imperialist Platform has condemned the detention as a “grave violation of human rights and international law,” accusing the Kenyan authorities of suppressing political expression.
