ISRAELI ACTIONS ARE KILLING SERBS, TOO
Milovan Jovanović, a Serbian peacekeeper serving with the United Nations mission in Lebanon, was killed in a rocket attack on a UN base in the country 4th of June, during the escalation of Israeli aggression against this independent and sovereign nation.
The regime in Tel Aviv, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, bears direct responsibility for this terrible tragedy that struck the Jovanović family and left two children orphaned.
The New Communist Party of Yugoslavia (NKPJ) and the League of Communist Youth of Yugoslavia (SKOJ) demand that the Serbian authorities immediately seek accountability from the leaders of Israel for the tragic death of the innocent peacekeeper, as they are the ones who initiated the aggression and the wave of violence in which innocent civilians are the primary victims. Regardless of where the rocket that struck the UN base in Lebanon was launched from, Israel bears sole responsibility for this war. Israel’s genocidal policy, aimed at eliminating all ethnic groups except the Jewish people living throughout Palestine and other parts of the Middle East, that Zionists regard as their prey and a God-promised land, has led them to disregard all international norms and laws, showing particular disregard for the United Nations.
The United Nations was established after the Second World War so that humanity could live in lasting peace. Such ideals are naturally unacceptable to the followers of the cult of war and killing. None of this would be possible without the immense strategic, logistical, military, and financial support of the world’s leading bully, the United States.
If they have so far buried their heads in the sand in the face of the suffering of tens of thousands of innocent civilians, including at least 24 000 children in Palestine and especially in Gaza, the authorities in Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić and Marko Đurić, cannot and must not bury their heads in the sand when it comes to the killing of their own citizens.
Sanctions and a blockade against the Zionists, not cooperation and partnership!
