Anti-G7 Struggle in Hiroshima by PDP and Platform (Day1)

On May 19 (local time), at the same time as the G7 Summit opened, the People’s Democracy Party (south Korea) and World Anti-Imperialist Platform began their expedition to Hiroshima. 

The expedition team first participated in an anti-G7 rally at Funairi Daiichi Park in Hiroshima. 

They held the banners of “Stop U.S.-Japan-South Korea War Cooperation! Stop Nuclear War Scheme against North Korea!” and “Oppose Asian version of NATO! Withdraw all foriegn US bases!” in Japanese and English.

Participants chanted slogans such as “No to the US-Japan Security Treaty,” “Stop US-Japan Military Exercises,” “No to G7 Summit,” and “No to Imperialism”.
