Pyongyang Mass Rally Held
Pyongyang mass rallies took place at different parts of the municipality on June 25, the day of struggle against U.S. imperialism.
Participated there were more than 120 000 working people and youth and students in the municipality.
Present there were Ri Il Hwan and Pak Thae Song, secretaries of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), Kim Su Gil, chief secretary of the Pyongyang Municipality Committee of the WPK, Jon Sung Guk, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Ri Tu Song, department director of the C.C., WPK, officials of working people’s organizations, institutions, industrial establishments, working people and youth and students in the municipality.
At the meetings speakers said that June 25 is kept in the minds of the Korean people as the wounds of grudge that can never be healed. They referred to the fact that the Korean nation suffered bitter pain and misfortune due to the U.S. imperialists’ war provocation of aggression.
If we had strong power, there would have been no such deep-rooted enmity as June 25 and the land of the motherland would not have been stained with innocent blood, they said, adding that the historic question why we should be strong is answered by the Sunday of blood more than 70 years ago.
They said that the Korean people have firmly grasped the strongest absolute weapon to punish the U.S. imperialists and the war deterrence for self-defence which no enemy dare provoke, true to the Party’s idea of building up the military capability for self-defense as they keenly realized that only when the army is strong, genuine peace and everything on this land can be defended.
It is the bounden duty of our generation which brooks no further delay to settle accounts with the U.S. imperialists, the speakers stressed that the avengers on this land burning with the indomitable will to take revenge on enemy will give merciless punishment and thorough eradication to the U.S. imperialists, the sworn enemy of the Korean people by resolute sacred war of revenge.
Then followed demonstrations.
The participants marched, shouting slogans of annihilating the U.S. imperialists and the group of traitors who are resorting to reckless war moves against the strong DPRK, not abandoning their daydream of stifling it even at this moment.

Tienen lugar mítines multitudinarios de los capitalinos por el día de lucha antiyanqui
Con motivo del día de lucha antiyanqui-25 de junio, tuvieron lugar ayer en varios lugares de esta capital los mítines multitudinarios con la participación de más de 120 mil trabajadores, jóvenes y estudiantes capitalinos.
Asistieron a la ocasiones los secretarios del Comité Central del Partido del Trabajo de Corea, Ri Il Hwan y Pak Thae Song, el secretario responsable del Comité del PTC en la Ciudad de Pyongyang, Kim Su Gil, el vicepremier Jon Sung Guk, el jefe de departamento del CC del PTC, Ri Tu Song, y los funcionarios de las entidades de masas e instituciones, fábricas y empresas de la capital, así como los trabajadores, jóvenes y estudiantes.
Los oradores dijeron que el 25 de junio se queda como herida incurable en el alma del pueblo coreano que sufrió incontables desgracias y sufrimientos debido a la guerra de agresión, provocada por los imperialistas norteamericanos.
Si hubiéramos sido fuertes, no habríamos sufrido la tragedia como pasada guerra coreana cuando el territorio patrio estuvo anegado de la sangre de civiles inocentes, apuntaron y agregaron que aquel domingo de junio de 1950 da la respuesta clara a la pregunta de por qué deben ser fuertes.
El pueblo coreano sintió en carne propia que sólo con las poderosas fuerzas armadas, puede defender la paz y todo lo valioso de la tierra patria y, por esta razón, empuñó fuerte el armamento absoluto capaz de castigar a los imperialistas norteamericanos y preparó el disuasivo de guerra de carácter autodefensivo, en virtud de la idea del PTC sobre la construcción de autodefensa nacional, enfatizaron.
La liquidación de cuentas con EE.UU. es la misión impostergable de nuestra generación, aseveraron y expusieron la decisión de castigar y aniquilar despiadadamente a esos enemigos jurados del pueblo coreano.
Acto seguido, hubo marchas multitudinarias.
Los participantes marcharon gritando las consignas que llamaban a exterminar a los imperialistas yanquis y los traidores surcoreanos que recurren a la imprudente campaña bélica contra la RPDC abrigando todavía el irrisorio intento de atropellarla.

По случаю Дня борьбы с американскими империалистами – 25 июня в разных местах г. Пхеньяна прошли митинги жителей г. Пхеньяна с участием более 120 тыс. трудящихся и учащейся молодежи города.
В митингах приняли участие секретари ЦК ТПК Ли Иль Хван и Пак Тхэ Сон, ответственный секретарь Пхеньянского городского комитета ТПК Ким Су Гир, заместитель премьер-министра Чон Сын Гук, заведующий отделом ЦК ТПК Ли Ду Сон, руководящие работники и трудящиеся общественных организаций трудящихся, учреждений, заводов, фабрик и учащаяся молодежь города.
На митингах выступившие с речью отметили, что 25 июня оставило в душах нашего народа вечно незаживающую рану, а агрессивная война американских империалистов принудила нашу нацию к невообразимым страданиям и несчастью.
Они сказали, что если бы мы имели мощную силу, то не было бы вечно незабываемой горечи 25 июня, а в нашей Родине не текла бы алая кровь невинных людей. И отметили, что на вопрос истории, почему мы должны быть сильными, дает ответ именно кровавое воскресенье 70-летней давности.
Наш народ до мозга костей остро чувствовал, что только с могучим оружием можно защищать настоящий мир и все дорогое на родной земле, и претворял в жизнь идею партии о строительстве самозащитной обороноспособности, в результате чего крепко держал в руках могущественнейшее абсолютное вооружение для уничтожения американских империалистов и обладал самозащитной силой сдерживания войны, не позволяющей всем врагам трогать страну, – продолжали они.
Сказали, что свести счеты с американским империализмом – это неотлагательный естественный долг нашего поколения, подчеркнув, что мстители этой земли, преисполненные непреклонной волей к сражению с противником, будут подвергать американских империалистов – заклятых врагов корейского народа беспощадному наказанию, полному уничтожению в решительной священной борьбе за возмездие.
Затем была массовая демонстрация.
Участники демонстрации шествовали, выражая в скандировании лозунгов неукротимую ненависть к американским империалистам и предательской своре, которые, питая глупую грезу задушить нашу Республику, и сейчас прибегают к безрассудным военным провокациям против нашего могучего государства.

“６·２５反美斗争日”平壤市群众集会举行
朝中社平壤６月２６日电 “６·２５反美斗争日”平壤市群众集会２５日在平壤各处举行，参加人员规模超过１２万名。
朝鲜劳动党中央委员会书记李日焕和朴泰成，平壤市党委员会责任书记金秀吉，内阁副总理全承国，朝鲜劳动党中央委员会部长李斗星，各群众团体、市内机关、工厂企业的工作人员，劳动群众以及青年学生参加了集会。
集会上，多位发言者表示，６月２５日给朝鲜人民留下永不愈合的创伤。由于美帝国主义发动的侵略战争，我们民族遭受了巨大的痛苦和不幸。如果我们的力量够强大，就不会有像６·２５那样的千秋之恨，祖国疆土也不会沾满无辜鲜血。我们为什么要强大起来，７０多年前的血的星期天就回答这一历史之问。
他们指出，因为痛感只有枪杆子强大，才能捍卫这片疆土上的真正和平与宝贵的一切，我国人民就遵循党的自卫国防建设思想，紧握了惩罚美帝国主义的最强的绝对兵器、任何敌人都不敢冒犯的自卫战争遏制力。
他们强调，同美帝国主义进行全面清算，是我们这一代刻不容缓的本分。这片疆土上的复仇者们装满不屈的对敌意志，将以坚决果断的报复圣战毫不留情地惩罚和彻底消灭朝鲜人民不共戴天的敌人——美帝国主义。
随后举行了群众游行。
游行参加者高喊杀敌口号行进，表达了对从不放弃扼杀我们共和国的狗梦，针对强大的我们国家专事十分冒险的战争挑衅活动的美帝国主义和逆贼集团的冲天敌忾。(完)
