On July 7, in the Brussels where the Nato Headquarter is, the global demonstration was conducted against the Nato Summit, planned to hold in Vilnius, Lithuania.
The anti-imperialist and anti-Nato rally, at the Albertine-Square located in the centre of Brussels, was hosted by Global Women for Peace United Against NATO as well as the peace organizations in Belgium and global woman’s organizations.
The participants urged to organise actions against the Nato’s scheme to increase armaments.
The World Anti-imperialist Platform chanted the slogan “Nato out of Belgium!” and “Disband Nato!” and masses responeded.
The Global Women for Peace United Against NATO was organised last March to advance the women’s movement worldwide.
