Press Statement of Minister of National Defence of DPRK
Kang Sun Nam, minister of National Defence of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), issued the following press statement on July 20:
In defiance of the repeated warning by the DPRK and serious concern of the international community, the U.S. and the group of traitors of the “Republic of Korea” (ROK) held a meeting of the “nuclear consultative group” on July 18 to discuss the plan for using nuclear weapons against the DPRK.
In particular, the hostile forces posed the most undisguised and direct nuclear threat to the DPRK by bringing an Ohio-class strategic nuclear submarine to the Pusan Port operation base, which means strategic nuclear weapons have been deployed on the Korean peninsula for the first time after 40 odd years.
This shows that the U.S. scenario for a nuclear attack upon the DPRK and its implementation have entered the most critical stage of visualization and systemization and the phase of a military clash on the Korean peninsula has surfaced as a dangerous reality beyond all sorts of imagination and presumption.
Among the nuclear-armed nations of the world, the U.S. is the only country which openly made it its policy to use its nuclear weapons against a specific country. No one will be able to deny the gravity and dangerousness of the security environment facing the DPRK in the light of that fact alone.
The U.S. and the traitors of the “ROK” are widely advertising the deployment of gigantic strategic nuclear weaponry of the U.S.
We correctly know why such weapons have found themselves on the Korean peninsula and where they came from.
As the U.S. and the “ROK” gangsters have gone beyond the “red line” in their military hysteria, now is the time for the DPRK to make clear once again its corresponding action choice and response direction.
The military security situation in the area of the Korean peninsula, which has undergone a fundamental change due to the reckless military moves of the U.S. and its followers, more clearly indicates what mission the nuclear weapons of the DPRK should carry out.
Through this press statement, I remind the U.S. military of the fact that the ever-increasing visibility of the deployment of the strategic nuclear submarine and other strategic assets may fall under the conditions of the use of nuclear weapons specified in the DPRK law on the nuclear force policy.
The DPRK’s doctrine on the use of nuclear weapons allows the execution of necessary action procedures in case a nuclear attack is launched against it or it is judged that the use of nuclear weapons against it is imminent.
The U.S. military side should realize that its nuclear assets have entered extremely dangerous waters.
I seriously warn once again the U.S. and the “ROK” military gangsters’ group daringly touting the “end of regime” in our country.
To the U.S. and the “ROK”, any use of their military muscle against the DPRK will be their most miserable choice by which they will have no room to think of their existence again.
The armed forces of the DPRK will responsibly carry out their important mission for defending the country’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and fundamental interests and preventing a nuclear war on the Korean peninsula and in the Northeast Asian region by thoroughly deterring and repelling the crazy maneuvers of the U.S. and its stooges to use nuclear weapons on the Korean peninsula.

Declaración del ministro de Defensa Nacional de la RPDC
El ministro de Defensa Nacional de la República Popular Democrática de Corea, Kang Sun Nam, hizo pública el día 20 la siguiente declaración:
A pesar de nuestras reiteradas advertencias y la seria preocupación de la sociedad internacional, las camarillas de EE.UU. y la “República de Corea” convocaron el día 18 la reunión del “grupo consultivo nuclear” para conspirar el plan de uso de armas nucleares contra nuestro Estado.
En particular, los enemigos hicieron llegar el submarino nuclear de clase Ohio a la base operacional del puerto de Pusan, de manera que perpetraron la amenaza nuclear más abierta y directa desplegando por primera vez en más de 40 años las armas nucleares estratégicas en la región de la Península Coreana.
El hecho muestra que el intento y ejecución del ataque nuclear de EE.UU. contra la RPDC se llevaron a una etapa más peligrosa, o sea, visible y sistemático, y la coyuntura de confrontación militar en la Península Coreana pasó a la realidad peligrosa sobrepasando el límite de todo tipo de imaginación y suposición.
Entre los países poseedores de armas nucleares, EE.UU. es el único que toma abiertamente como su política el empleo de armas nucleares contra un país específico, por lo tanto, nadie puede negar la gravedad y peligrosidad del ambiente de seguridad de la RPDC.
EE.UU. y los traidores de la “República de Corea” anuncian ruidosamente la llegada de la colosal arma estratégica nuclear del país primero.
Sabemos bien por qué y de dónde vino ese coloso a la Península Coreana.
Dado que pasó el “nivel peligroso” la locura militar de los gángsteres de EE.UU. y la “República de Corea”, ya llegó un momento de volver a exponer nuestra opción de acción y rumbo de reacción que corresponden al respecto.
La situación de seguridad militar de la región de la Península Coreana, cambiada radicalmente debido a la imprudencia militar de EE.UU. y sus acólitos, hace más clara la misión de nuestras armas nucleares.
Aprovecho la ocasión para hacer recordar a la parte de la capa militar norteamericana lo que el incremento visible de las propiedades estratégicas incluso el submarino nuclear puede ser correspondiente a la condición de uso de armas nucleares, estipulada en el decreto de la RPDC sobre la política de las fuerzas armadas nucleares del Estado.
El principio de uso nuclear de la RPDC permite la tramitación de acción necesaria en el caso de que se haya cometido un ataque nuclear contra el Estado o se considere la aproximación de uso de las armas nucleares.
La parte de las tropas norteamericanas debe darse cuenta que su propiedad estratégica entró en las aguas tan peligrosas.
Vuelvo a advertir con seriedad al colectivo de gángsteres de la capa militar de EE.UU. y la “República de Corea” que se atreven a hablar del “fin del poder” de nuestro Estado.
El uso de la capacidad militar contra la RPDC será una opción tan trágica que no les da a EE.UU. y la “República de Corea” la otra oportunidad de pensar en su existencia.
Las fuerzas armadas de la RPDC detendrán y rechazarán perfectamente la demencia de EE.UU. y sus lacayos que tratan de usar las armas nucleares en la Península Coreana, de manera que cumplirán con responsabilidad con su importantísima misión de defender la soberanía, la integridad territorial y los intereses fundamentales del Estado y prevenir la guerra nuclear en la Península Coreana y el resto de la región de Noreste de Asia.

20 июля министр обороны КНДР Кан Сун Нам опубликовал нижеследующее заявление для печати.
Несмотря на наши неоднократные предостережения и серьезную озабоченность международного сообщества, 18 июля США и свора предателей «Республики Корея» провели собрание «консультативной группы по ядерным вопросам», где обсудили план применения ядерного оружия против нашего государства.
В частности, враги перебросили стратегическую атомную подводную лодку типа «Огайо» на операционную базу в порту Пусан, таким образом, они, впервые через 40 с лишим лет разместив стратегическое ядреное оружие на Корейском полуострове, создали самую откровенную и прямую ядерную угрозу.
Это показывает, что попытки США к ядерной атаке против КНДР и их реализация вступили в самую серьезную фазу активизации и систематизации, а перспективы военного столкновения на Корейском полуострове превратились в опасную реальность, выйдя за пределы всяких воображений и предположений.
Судя по одному факту, что среди ядерных стран мира только одна страна – США официально возвела применение ядерного оружия против определенной страны в ранг государственной политики, никто не может отрицать серьезную и опасную обстановку безопасности, в которой находится КНДР.
США и предатели «Республики Кореи» громко рекламируют размещение крупного стратегического ядерного оружия США.
Мы точно знаем цель размещения такого ядерного оружия на Корейском полуострове и место его отправления.
Раз уж военное сумасбродство США и военных гангстеров «Республики Корея» вышло за «опасные пределы», нам тоже пора еще раз уяснить свой соответствующий выбор действий и направление контрмер.
Обстановка военной безопасности на Корейском полуострове, коренным образом изменившаяся из-за военного бесчинства США и их сателлитов, дает точно понять, какую миссию должно выполнять наше ядерное оружие.
В этом заявлении для печати напоминаю военным кругам США, что заметное наращивание размещения стратегических средств, включая стратегическую ядерную подлодку, может подлежать условиям применения ядерного оружия, определенным в Законе о политике нашего государства по вопросам ядерных вооруженных сил.
Ядерная доктрина КНДР допускает прохождение необходимых процедур действий в случае совершения или приближения ядерной атаки против нашего государства.
Американская сторона должна понимать, что их стратегическое средство зашло в слишком опасную акваторию.
Еще раз строго предупреждаю США и военным гангстерам «Республики Корея», которые осмеливаются болтать о «конце режима» нашего государства.
Использование вооруженных сил против КНДР станет самым трагическим выбором для США и «Республики Корея», не дающим даже шанса еще раз думать о своем существовании.
Вооруженные силы КНДР будут последовательно подавлять и отражать безрассудные попытки США и их приспешников применить ядреное оружие на Корейском полуострове, и тем самым будут ответственно выполнять свою важную миссию защиты суверенитета, территориальной целостности и основных интересов государства, предотвращения ядерной войны на Корейском полуострове и в Северо-Восточной Азии.

美国和“大韩民国”的逆贼集团无视我们的屡次警告和国际社会的深切忧虑，１８日召开“核磋商小组”会议，密谋针对我们国家的核武器使用计划。
尤其是，敌人派遣俄亥俄级战略核潜艇停泊在釜山港作战基地，这是４０多年来第一次在朝鲜半岛地区部署的战略核武器，是对我们的最为露骨而直接的核威胁。
此举证明，美国的对朝核攻击企图和实行已进入了可视化、体系化的最为严重阶段，在朝鲜半岛的军事冲突局面超出假象和推测范围，作为危险的现实摆在我们面前。
在世界拥核国之中唯独有美国把针对特定国家的核武器使用公开确定为政策。只拿这一事实，谁都不能否认朝鲜民主主义人民共和国面临的安保环境的严重性和危险性。
美国和“大韩民国”逆贼喧嚷着巨大的美国战略核武器驶入南朝鲜傀儡地区。
我们很清楚，那些东西为何闯进朝鲜半岛，从何处来。
既然美国和“大韩民国”流氓的军事狂态已越过“红线”，现在到了我们明确一下与之相应的行动选择和应对方向的时候了。
由于美国及其追随势力的军事妄动，朝鲜半岛地区的军事安保形势有了根本性变化，这更加显明地告诉，我们的核武器应该完成什么样的使命。
我通过这次谈话提醒美国军方，包括战略核潜艇在内的战略资产部署的可见性增大可能会符合我们国家核武力政策法令所阐明的核武器使用条件。
朝鲜民主主义人民共和国的核使用教理允许，国家遭到或者判断为即将遭到核武器攻击时，就可以进行必要的行动程序。
美国军方要搞清楚，自己的战略资产驶入到太危险的水域。
我再次向胆敢嘴里吐出我们国家的“政权终结”的美国和“大韩民国”军部流氓发出严正警告：对朝鲜民主主义人民共和国使用军事力量，将是一个最悲惨的选择，对于美国和“大韩民国” 来说，连一再考虑对自己存在与否的余地都没有。
朝鲜民主主义人民共和国武装力量将彻底遏制并击退美国及其走狗企图在朝鲜半岛使用核武器的鲁莽行动，负责任地完成维护国家的主权、领土完整和根本利益，防止在朝鲜半岛和东北亚地区发生核战争的自己的重大使命。
