Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Sends Greetings to Russian President
Kim Jong Un, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, sent a message of greeting to Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, president of the Russian Federation, on Aug. 15.
In the message, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un extended warm greetings on behalf of the DPRK government and people to President Putin and the government and people of the Russian Federation on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of Korea’s liberation.
The Red Army officers and men, precious sons and daughters of the Russian people, defeated fascism that threatened the destiny of mankind with their noble sense of mission for the internationalist cause and then courageously turned out in the sacred war against Japanese militarism to win another brilliant victory, thus making a great contribution to the world people’s cause of national liberation, the message said, adding:
Fields and mountains of Korea are dyed with blood shed by the known and unknown Red Army fighters in the fierce battles for Korea’s liberation together with the members of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army, and their heroic self-sacrificing spirit will be long conveyed to posterity along with the history of the DPRK-Russia friendship.
The militant friendship and solidarity established between the armies and peoples of the two countries in the grim days of struggle against the common enemy have become a proud tradition of the DPRK-Russia relations and are now fully demonstrating their invincibility and might in the struggle to smash the imperialists’ arbitrary practices and hegemony.
I am firmly convinced that the friendship and solidarity between the DPRK and Russia, provided by the preceding leaders and consolidated in the test of history, will be further developed into a long-standing strategic relationship in conformity with the demand of the new era and that the two countries will always emerge victorious, strongly supporting and cooperating with each other in the course of achieving their common goal and cause.
The message wished President Putin good health and success in his responsible work, extending militant salute to the Russian government, army and people who have turned out in the historic grand project to defend the sovereignty, security and peace of the country and build powerful Russia.

Kim Jong Un, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, received a message of greeting from Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, president of the Russian Federation, on August 15.
In the message, the Russian president extended his heartfelt congratulations to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un on the occasion of the day of Korea’s liberation.
This holiday is a symbol of bravery and heroism of the Red Army soldiers and the Korean patriots who fought together to liberate Korea from Japan’s colonial rule, the message said, adding:
The tradition of friendship and cooperation, provided in that period of rigorous struggle, has served as a solid foundation for the development of good-neighborly relations between the Russian Federation and the DPRK.
I am sure that we will strengthen the bilateral cooperation in all fields for the two peoples’ well-being and the firm stability and security of the Korean peninsula and the whole of Northeast Asia.
The message wished Kim Jong Un good health and success and all the citizens of the DPRK happiness and prosperity.

Estimado compañero Kim Jong Un felicita al Presidente ruso por el día de liberación
El Presidente de Asuntos Estatales de la República Popular Democrática de Corea, Kim Jong Un, envió el día 15 un mensaje de felicitación al Presidente de la Federación Rusa, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin.
Con motivo del aniversario 78 de la liberación de Corea, el remitente extendió cordial saludo al destinatario y el gobierno y pueblo de la Federación Rusa, en nombre del gobierno y pueblo de la RPDC.
Recordó que asumiendo la noble misión de la causa internacionalista, los oficiales y soldados del Ejército Rojo, hijos valiosos del pueblo ruso, aniquilaron el fascismo que amenazaba el destino de la humanidad, y seguidamente, se incorporaron con valentía en la lucha sagrada contra el militarismo japonés y lograron otra victoria fulminante haciendo enorme aporte a la causa de liberación nacional de los pueblos del mundo.
Continuó que está impregnada en las montañas y llanuras de Corea la sangre derramada por los conocidos y desconocidos combatientes del Ejército Rojo, junto con los miembros del Ejército Revolucionario Popular de Corea, en las enconadas batallas por la liberación de Corea y será recordado por toda la posteridad el espíritu de sacrificio heroico manifestado por ellos en el transcurso de la historia de amistad Corea-Rusia.
Enfatizó que la amistad combativa y solidaridad, forjadas entre los ejércitos y pueblos de ambos países en los días severos de la lucha contra el enemigo común, constituyeron la orgullosa tradición de vínculos bilaterales y hoy en día, manifiestan plenamente su invencibilidad y poderío en la lucha por acabar con el despotismo brutal y hegemonía de los imperialistas.
Expresó la convicción de que la amistad y unidad entre Corea y Rusia, preparadas por los líderes antecesores y consolidadas a prueba de la historia, se desarrollarán más como lazos estratégicos de largas perspectivas conforme a las demandas de nueva época y los dos países saldrán siempre victoriosos apoyando y solidarizando mutua y fuertemente en el trayecto de cumplimiento de la meta y causa comunes.
Aprovechó la oportunidad para mandar saludo militante al gobierno, ejército y pueblo de Rusia, que emprendieron la empresa histórica de defender la soberanía, seguridad y paz del país y construir una Rusia poderosa, y formular votos sinceros por la salud del destinatario y los éxitos en sus responsabilidades.

El Presidente de Asuntos Estatales de la República Popular Democrática de Corea, Kim Jong Un, recibió un mensaje de felicitación que le remitiera el día 15 el Presidente de la Federación Rusa, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin.
En la misiva, el remitente envió sinceras felicitaciones al destinatario con motivo del día de liberación de Corea.
Escribió que esta fiesta simboliza la valentía y heroísmo de los militares del Ejército Rojo y los patriotas coreanos que lucharon juntos por liberar a Corea de la dominación colonial de Japón.
Apuntó que la tradición de amistad y cooperación, preparada en el período de esa lucha ardua, constituyó justamente la firme base de desarrollo de las relaciones de buena vecindad entre la FR y la RPDC.
Expresó la convicción de que en el futuro también, se estrechará la cooperación bilateral en todos los dominios por el bienestar de los pueblos de ambos países y por la consolidación de la estabilidad y seguridad de la Península Coreana y toda la región del Nordeste Asiático.
Formuló votos sinceros por la salud y éxitos del destinatario y por la felicidad y prosperidad de todos los ciudadanos de la RPDC.

Председатель государственных дел Корейской Народно-Демократической Республики уважаемый товарищ Ким Чен Ын 15 августа направил поздравительную телеграмму президенту Российской Федерации Владимиру Владимировичу Путину.
В телеграмме уважаемый товарищ Ким Чен Ын по случаю 78-летия освобождения Кореи от имени правительства и народа КНДР послал теплый привет президенту Путину и в его лице правительству и народу РФ.
Товарищ Ким Чен Ын отметил, что военнослужащие Красной Армии – дорогие сыны и дочери российского народа с осознанием высокой миссии в деле интернационализма после уничтожения фашистов, угрожавших судьбе человечества, смело поднялись на священную борьбу против японского милитаризма и одержали очередную блестящую победу, внесли огромный вклад в дело национального освобождения народов мира.
Упомянул, что известные и скромные отважные воины Красной Армии вместе с бойцами Корейской Народно-революционной армии в ожесточенных боях за освобождение Кореи пролили кровь, которая бережно хранится в горах и полях Кореи, а их героический дух самоотверженности будет из поколения в поколение передаваться вместе с историей корейско-российской дружбы.
В телеграмме отмечено, что в дни суровой борьбы против общего врага между армиями и народами двух стран завязаны боевое братство и сплоченность, которые являются славными традициями корейско-российских отношений и сегодня ярко демонстрируют свою непобедимость и мощь в борьбе против свирепого произвола и господства империалистов.
Твердо уверен, что дружба и солидарность между Кореей и Россией, установленные предыдущим вождями и укрепленные через проверку истории, в соответствии с велением новой эпохи будут дальше развиваться как стратегические отношения на вечные времена.
