DPRK Armed Forces Show No Mercy: KCNA Commentary
An unprecedented large-scale thermonuclear war is approaching the Korean Peninsula every moment as reality.
On Aug. 21, the U.S. and the south Korean puppet group started the largest-ever joint military drill “Ulji Freedom Shield” despite our repeated warnings.
The nuclear war drill with huge aggression forces involved will last until Aug. 31. The U.S. mobilized in the drill not only war hardware and troops deployed in the operational area of the Korean Peninsula but also space forces in its mainland for the first time in history.
Such U.S. nuclear strategic assets are expected to be hurled into the drill as a nuclear carrier, a nuclear submarine, B-1B and B-52H.
The aggressive character of the drill is becoming ever more conspicuous as even the war criminal states such as Australia, Canada, France, Britain, Greece, Italy, New Zealand and the Philippines, which entered the last Korean War under the cloak of “UN forces”, are participating in the drill.
In this period, the U.S. and other hostile forces are going to wage over 30 joint field maneuvers and other exercises for an actual war to invade the north in all the operation areas, including ground, sea, air and space.
The bosses of the U.S., Japan and the south Korean puppet group met at the Camp David Resort near Washington on Aug. 18 to detail, plan and formulate the nuclear war provocation on the Korean Peninsula. And the drill is being staged for carrying out the agreements even before the ink of agreed documents is dry so the gravity of the situation is further amplified.
If the agreements fabricated at the Camp David Resort are additionally put into practice in the war drill involving human and material resources of the U.S. and other hostile forces and even the vassal forces, the possibility of outbreak of a thermonuclear war on the Korean peninsula will become more realistic.
All the facts go to prove that the danger of the “Ulji Freedom Shield” joint military drill with all possible war resources involved can never be covered up with the words “annual” and “defensive”.
It is as clear as noonday that the war rehearsal, daubed with such bellicose rhetoric as “occupation”, “annihilation”, “decapitation” and “scorched earth” and staged on the “largest scale and content in history”, is targeting the DPRK.
The prevailing situation requires the Korean People’s Army to take the initiative, offensive and overwhelming action for a war.
The will to punish the hostile forces threatening the sovereignty of our state and the right to existence of our people for decades is waiting for a moment of percussion.
The armed forces of the DPRK will wait for the time.

Se aproxima poco a poco a la realidad la guerra termonuclear inaudita en la Península Coreana.
A pesar de nuestras reiteradas advertencias, EE.UU. y los títeres surcoreanos iniciaron el día 21 los ejercicios conjuntos militares de gran envergadura “Ulji Freedom Shield”.
En este entrenamiento de guerra nuclear, que se realizará hasta el último día de este mes con la participación de enormes fuerzas agresivas, el país norteamericano movilizó los equipos de guerra y las fuerzas armadas ubicados en la región de la operación de la Península Coreana y hasta las fuerzas espaciales de su propio territorio, por primera vez en la historia.
Se prevé que participarían ahí las propiedades estratégicas nucleares de EE.UU. como portaaviones y submarinos nucleares, “B-1B”, “B-52H”, etc.
Sobre todo, tomarán parte en esta maniobra hasta los países delincuentes como Australia, Canadá, Francia, Inglaterra, Grecia, Italia, Nueva Zelanda, Filipinas y otros que habían participado en la pasada guerra coreana bajo el rótulo de las “Fuerzas de la ONU”, lo que reviste más su carácter agresivo.
EE. UU. y las fuerzas hostiles intentan realizar en este plazo más de 30 entrenamientos conjuntos de movilidad al aire libre y otros ejercicios de guerra de agresión anti-RPDC en todas las esferas de operación inclusive la tierra, mar, aire y espacio.
El pasado 18, los caudillos de EE.UU., Japón y el títere surcoreano se reunieron en la Residencia Camp David, situada en la cercanía de Washington, para detallar, planificar y formalizar la provocación de guerra nuclear en la Península Coreana e inmediatamente se desarrollan las maniobras militares para ejecutarla. He aquí la peligrosidad del caso.
Si se implementan de modo adicional los artículos conspirados en Camp David en este entrenamiento donde se movilizan todos los recursos humanos y materiales de EE.UU. y sus acólitos y las fuerzas seguidoras, se hará más grande la posibilidad del estallido de la guerra termonuclear en la Península Coreana.
La situación creada demuestra que no se puede encubrir la peligrosidad de “Ulji Freedom Shield” con unas palabras como el entrenamiento “anual” y “defensivo”.
Es obvio que el presente ensayo de guerra cuyo tamaño y contenido son sin precedentes en la historia, en que se entrenarán la “conquista”, “aniquilación”, “descabezamiento” y “exterminio” a alguien, tiene como su blanco a la RPDC.
La situación dada exige a nuestro ejército una reacción ofensiva y aplastante.
Espera el momento de explosión la voluntad de castigar a las fuerzas hostiles que amenazan de siglo en siglo la soberanía de nuestro Estado y el derecho a subsistencia de nuestro pueblo.
Las fuerzas de la RPDC esperan que venga la oportunidad.

На Корейском полуострове час от часу небывалая в истории термоядерная война становится реальностью.
21 августа США и свора южнокорейских марионеток начали самые крупномасштабные в истории совместные военные учения «Ulchi Freedom Shield» («Ыльчи фридом шилд»), несмотря на наши неоднократные предостережения.
На этих учениях ядерной войны, которые будут проводиться с участием огромных агрессивных вооруженных сил до 31 августа, США задействовали не только военные оснащения и вооруженные силы, дислоцированные в зоне военных действий на Корейском полуострове, но и первый раз в истории космические силы из континентальной части.
Предполагается, что будут задействованы и ядерные стратегические средства США, в том числе атомный авианосец, атомная подлодка, стратегические бомбардировщики «B－1B», «B－52H».
В частности, агрессивный характер этих учений еще подчеркивает то, что в них участвуют государства-военные преступники, которые участвовали в прошлой Корейской войне под вывеской «ооновских войск», включая Австралию, Канаду, Францию, Великобританию, Грецию, Италию, Новую Зеландию и Филиппины.
В период учений США и враждебные силы собираются проводить практические учения против Севера, включая более 30 объединенных полевых оперативных маневров, во всесторонних сферах для операции, в том числе на суше, на море, в воздухе и в космосе.
Серьезность ситуации еще более растут из-за того, что учения проводятся для реализации соглашения, пока не высохла чернила на протоколе соглашений. 18 августа главари США, Японии и южнокорейских марионеток собрались на даче Кэмп Дэвид под Вашингтоном и детализировали, планировали и формулировали провокацию ядерной войны на Корейском полуострове.
Если на этих военных учениях, в которых задействованы не только людские и материальные ресурсы США и враждебных сил, но и их сателлитов, дополнительно реализуются пункты соглашений, фабрикованных в переговорах в Кэмп Дэвиде, то возможность вспышки термоядерной войны на Корейском полуострове будет более реальной.
Такая ситуация показывает, что опасность нынешних совместных военных учений «Ulchi Freedom Shield», в которых задействованы все возможные военные ресурсы, отнюдь нельзя скрыть такими словами, как «ежегодные», «оборонительные» учения.
Совсем очевидно, что на нашу Республику нацелена нынешняя репетиция войны, в которой проходят красной нитью такие воинственные риторики, как «взятие», «уничтожение», «обезглавливание», «превращение в пепел» и которая проводится «первый раз в истории» по масштабу и «в самом крупном в истории» по содержаниям.
Сложившаяся ситуация требует инициативные, наступательные и подавляющие военные контрмеры нашей армии.
Воля к возмездию враждебных сил, которые из века в век угрожают суверенитету нашего государства и праву нашего народа на существование, ждет момента вспышки.
Вооруженные силы нашей Республики будут ждать удобного случая.

朝中社评论：我们共和国武装力量绝不留情
在朝鲜半岛上，史无前例的热核大战逐渐变成现实。
８月２１日，美国和南朝鲜傀儡集团不顾我们的反复警告，进行了历届最大规模的“乙支自由之盾”联合军演。
大批侵略兵力参加将进行至３１日的此次核战争演习，别说被调入朝鲜半岛作战地区的战争武器装备和兵力，连美国本土太空军也史上首次参加此次演习。
核航母、核潜艇、Ｂ－１Ｂ、Ｂ－５２Ｈ战略轰炸机等美国的核战略资产也将到场助阵。尤其是此次战争演习吸引包括澳大利亚、加拿大、法国、英国、希腊、意大利、新西兰、菲律宾等在内的曾在上世纪朝鲜战争时期打出“联合国军”招牌宣布参战的战犯国家参训，因此其侵略性质越来越凸显。
其间，美国和敌对势力策划在包括地面、海上、空中、太空在内的全方位作战领域进行３０多场联合野外机动训练等实战性侵朝演习。
１８日，因为美国、日本和南朝鲜傀儡头子一窝蜂赶来华盛顿周边的戴维营正式具体细化朝鲜半岛核战争挑衅计划后，这些协议文件的墨迹还没干，正式启动落实它的演习，事态严重性进一步增大。
若在美国等敌对势力的人力物力资源和连仆从势力也被倾巢调入的此次战争演习中追加落实戴维营密谋时达成的协议事项，那么朝鲜半岛的热核大战爆发可能性将更趋现实化。
一切事态表明，所谓“年度性”、“防御性”这种语言游戏掩盖不住一切可能的战争资源倾巢出动的“乙支自由之盾”联合军演的危险性。
滥发对谁的“占领”、“歼灭”、“斩首”、“焦土化”等的好战修辞，并以“史上首次”、“历届最大”来打破其规模和内容先例而进行的此次战争预演完全针对我们共和国，是不言自明的。
当前形势正在要求我军主动发起压倒性攻势对战争做出回应。
眼下，要坚决惩罚跨年代和世纪一直威胁我们国家主权和我国人民生存权的敌对势力的意志在等待着击发的时刻。
我们共和国武装力量将等待时机。
