KPA General Staff Releases Report
The General Staff of the Korean People’s Army released the following report on August 30:
On August 30 the U.S. imperialists let a formation of B-1B nuclear strategic bombers conduct a joint attack formation drill against the DPRK together with fighters of the military gangsters of the “Republic of Korea” in the sky above the East and West Seas of Korea.
The drill, staged at a time when the enemies’ adventurous aggressive war exercises Ulji Freedom Shield reached their height, is a serious threat to the DPRK as it was just pursuant to the scenario for a preemptive nuclear strike at the DPRK.
The enemies opened this fact to the press and loudly advertise it as a “demonstration of the implementation of the extended deterrence” against the DPRK.
This is little short of informing the world that they made the preemptive nuclear strike at the DPRK a fait accompli and are putting it into practice.
To cope with this, the KPA staged a tactical nuclear strike drill simulating scorched earth strikes at major command centers and operational airfields of the “ROK” military gangsters on Wednesday night.
The tactical nuclear-armed unit of the KPA in the western region of the country conducted the relevant military activities.
The missile unit fired two tactical ballistic missiles northeastward at Pyongyang International Airport and correctly carried out its nuclear strike mission through air bursts at a preset altitude of 400 meters above the target island.
The drill is aimed to send a clear message to the enemies, who responded the DPRK’s repeated warnings with such military threat as deployment of strategic assets, and make them clearly realize once again the DPRK’s resolute punitive will and substantive retaliation capabilities.
The KPA will never overlook the rash acts of the U.S. forces and the “ROK” military gangsters.

El día 30, la escuadrilla de bombarderos estratégicos nucleares B-1B, introducida en los firmamentos sobre los Mares Este y Oeste de Corea por los imperialistas norteamericanos, realizó el ejercicio militar conjunto de las escuadrillas de ataque contra la RPDC junto con los cazas de los gángsteres militares de la “República de Corea”.
Constituye una seria amenaza para nuestro país ese entrenamiento que tuvo lugar cuando está en su clímax el aventurero ensayo de la guerra de agresión de los enemigos “Ulji Freedom Shield” según el evidente intento de ataque preventivo nuclear contra la RPDC.
Al publicar este hecho en la prensa, los enemigos anuncian con bombo y platillo que se trata de una “demostración de ejecución del disuasivo ampliado” contra nuestro país.
Esto da lo mismo que publicar al mundo que están llevando a la práctica el ataque preventivo nuclear contra la RPDC considerándolo como hecho consumado.
Frente a ello, el Ejército Popular de Corea llevó a cabo el día 30 por la noche el ejercicio de golpe nuclear táctico que supone la devastación de las importantes bases de mando y aeropuertos operacionales de los gángsteres militares de la “República de Corea”.
Tal acción militar estuvo a cargo de la unidad de operación de armas nucleares tácticas de la zona occidental del EPC.
Los efectivos operadores de misil dispararon 2 misiles balísticos tácticos hacia el nordeste desde el Aeropuerto Internacional de Pyongyang y cumplieron exactamente la misión de golpe nuclear al explotarlos en la altura prefijada de 400 metros del espacio aéreo sobre el islote blanco.
Este entrenamiento tuvo por su objetivo enviar una señal clara a los enemigos que desafiaron a nuestra repetida advertencia con un acto de amenaza militar, o sea, el despliegue de propiedades estratégicas, y hacerles comprender obviamente nuestra voluntad de represalia rotunda y capacidad de venganza real.
El EPC no estará nunca con brazos cruzados ante los movimientos imprudentes de las fuerzas norteamericanas y los gángsteres militares de la “República de Corea”.

30 августа Генштаб КНА опубликовал нижеследующее сообщение.
30 августа американские империалисты перебросили на воздушные пространства над Корейским Восточным морем и Корейским Западным морем стратегические бомбардировщики B-1B и вместе с истребителями военных гангстеров «Республики Корея» провели объединенные наступательные учения эскадрилий против КНДР.
Нынешние учения, проведенные в самом разгаре авантюрных агрессивных военных учений «Ыльчжи фридом шильд», ясно исходят из намерения нанести ядерный превентивный удар по КНДР, что является серьезной угрозой нам.
Враги, доводя такой факт до сведения СМИ, шумно рекламируют, что это «демонстрация осуществления расширенного сдерживания».
Это не что иное, как объявление всему миру того, что они считают ядерный превентивный удар по нашей Республике уже установленным фактом и осуществляют его на практике.
В ответ на это ночью 30 августа КНА провела учения нанесения удара тактических ядерных оружий с имитацией уничтожения важных командных пунктов и оперативных аэродромов военных гангстеров «Республики Корея».
Тактическая ядерная часть КНА в западном районе провела соответствующую военную деятельность.
В Пхеньянском международном аэропорту ракетчики запустили 2 тактические баллистические ракеты к северо-восточному направлению, которые взорвались на определенной 400-метровой высоте неба над целью – островом, и тем точно выполнили задание по нанесению ядерного удара.
Цель нынешних учений – дать ясный сигнал врагам, которые ответили на наши неоднократные предостережения военными угрожающими действиями, так называемыми «размещением стратегических вооружений», и повторно дать понять о нашей воле к решительному возмездию и практической способности к нанесению ответного удара.
КНА ни в коем случае не будет оставлять без реакции бесчинство американской армии и военных гангстеров «Республики Корея».

朝鲜人民军总参谋部３０日发表了如下报道：
８月３０日，美帝国主义向朝鲜东海和西海上空拉进Ｂ－１Ｂ核战略轰炸机编队，同“大韩民国”军事匪徒的战斗机一起进行了针对朝鲜民主主义人民共和国的联合攻击编队训练。
在敌人冒险的侵略战争演习“乙支自由护盾”进入高潮的时刻进行的此次训练明明是为实现针对朝鲜民主主义人民共和国的先发制人核打击意图而采取的。这对我们构成严重威胁。
敌人向新闻媒体公开这一事实，大肆宣扬，对我方 “显示了延伸遏制的实施”。
这无异于向全世界公开：对我方实施先发制人核打击当做既成事实并付诸实施。
针对这种情况，朝鲜人民军３０日晚实施了模拟把“大韩民国”军事匪徒的重要指挥据点和作战机场化为一片焦土的战术核打击训练。
朝鲜人民军西部地区战术核运用部队进行了相关军事活动。
导弹兵在平壤国际机场向北东方向发射两枚战术弹道导弹，导弹在目标岛屿上空设定高度４００米处空中爆炸，正确执行了核打击任务。
此次训练的目的在于向对我方的再三警告采取部署战略资产这一军事威胁行为提出挑战的敌人发出明确的信号，让敌人清楚地重新认识我们坚决的惩戒意志和实质性报复能力。
朝鲜人民军绝不会坐视美军和“大韩民国”军事匪徒的轻举妄动。
