Vice-Chairman of Russian Security Council Says: No Improvement in Relations with the West
In a recent interview with the Russian press, Medvedev, the Vice-Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, said that the there is too big a rift in the relations between Russia and the West and that it is not expected to see any improved bilateral relations in the near future.
He asserted that it is a miscalculation to think that Europe would not follow the U.S. as the latter seizes the lifeline of Europe’s economy and ensures its security.
Denouncing that the non-proliferation and disarmament regime has been completely dysfunctional by the European countries, Vice-Chairman Medvedev warned of the ever-increasing threats of a nuclear war with the U.S.
He concluded by stressing that we cannot exclude the possibility of the outbreak of a nuclear war and it is important to take all necessary measures to prevent it.

El vicepresidente del Consejo de Seguridad de Rusia declara que no es posible la mejora de relaciones entre su país y el Occidente
Hace poco, en una entrevista con las prensas locales, Medvedev, vicepresidente del Consejo de Seguridad de Rusia declaró que las relaciones entre Rusia y el Occidente tienen una grieta demasiado grande y que no será posible la mejora de relaciones en un futuro cercano.
Siguió que EE.UU. controla la arteria económica de Europa y asegura su seguridad y declaró que es una equivocación pensar que Europa no obedecerá a EE.UU.
Además, él condenó que los países europeos destruyeron totalmente el sistema de no proliferación de las armas nucleares y desarme, y advirtió que se incrementa día a día la amenaza de guerra nuclear con EE.UU.
Por último, él enfatizó que no se puede descartar la posibilidad de estallamiento de guerra nuclear y que es importante tomar todas las medidas necesarias para prevenirla.

Недавно заместитель председателя Совета безопасности России Д. Медведев в интервью с отечественными СМИ заявил, что между Россией и Западом образовался слишком глубокий разрыв и сближение России с Западом в ближайшее время не произойдет.
Он отметил, что американцы отбили у Европы целый ряд экономических сфер и полностью обеспечивают их безопасность и утвердил, что если кто-нибудь считает, что Европа перестанет слушать США, то он ошибается.
Также зампред Совбеза Д. Медведев критиковал, что система нераспространения ядерных оружий и разоружения разрушена из-за западных стран и предупредил, что угроза ядерной войны растет с каждым днем.
В заключение он отметил, что нельзя исключить возможность ядерной войны, и подчеркнул необходимость принятия всех нужных мер для ее предотвращения.

俄罗斯安全理事会副主席：俄罗斯和西方关系不会改善
近日，俄罗斯安全理事会副主席梅德韦杰夫在接受本国媒体采访时表示，俄罗斯和西方之间的关系出现太大的裂缝，在不远的将来不会得到改善。
他断言，美国掌控欧洲经济命脉，提供安全保障，因此欧洲不会听从美国的想法是错误的。
他还谴责欧洲国家彻底破坏了核不扩散和裁军制度，对同美国的核战争危险日益加剧敲响了警钟。
他最后强调，不能排除核战争爆发的可能性，采取必要的一切措施防止战争是关键。（完）
