On May 12, Donald Trump US President said that the European Union (EU) to nastier in trade than Chaina.
This remark came as Trump optimism about tariff negotiation with China, saying “I could speak with China’s President Xi Jinping at the end of the week.”
Previously, the US and China agreed to reached an agreement to significantly tariffs cuts during trade negotiation held in Switzerland on May 10 and 11.
With the press at the White House before departing for a trip to the Middle East, he said, “China agreed to open itself up to American business and it was maybe the most important thing.”
He also emphasized that this agreement doesn’t include tariffs on all car, steel, aluminum and medical devices imported into the United States.
