The 6th Enlarged Meeting of the 8th Central Military Commission of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) which is of another great military significance was held at the office building of the WPK Central Committee on April 10 in the turning period of the development of our armed forces in which the powerful strategic measures are being carried out to expand and strengthen the war deterrent of the country in every way to cope with the escalating moves of the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet traitors to unleash a war of aggression.
Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the WPK, chairman of the Central Military Commission of the WPK and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, guided the enlarged meeting.
Present at the meeting were major members of the Central Military Commission of the WPK and commanding officers of the large combined units of the Korean People’s Army on the front.
The enlarged meeting clearly understood the serious present security situation in the Korean Peninsula that the aggressive military policy and actions of the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet traitors are emerging as a threatening entity, and discussed important military issues arising in making the country’s defence capacity and war preparations more perfect.
Recently the enemy openly let out even warlike words such as the “occupation of Pyongyang” and “beheading operation” and staged the frantic large-scale joint military drill simulating an all-out war against the DPRK. And they clearly showed their sinister true colors for aggression while making reckless remarks for the confrontation with the DPRK and deliberately inciting the military actions for attack.
The meeting made an in-depth analysis of the present situation in which the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet traitors are getting ever more undisguised in their moves for a war of aggression, and raised it as an indispensable requirement to make the military option of the DPRK clearer and make thoroughgoing preparations for switching to powerful practical action. It discussed practical matters and measures for machinery to prepare various military action proposals that no means and ways of counteraction are available to the enemy and decided on the relevant resolutions by a unanimous approbation.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un stressed the need to expand the DPRK’s war deterrence being strengthened with increasing speed on a more practical and offensive and to effectively apply it as a measure for more strict control and management of the ever-worsening security on the Korean peninsula.
Learning about the plan for offensive operation on the front and various combat documents, he clarified the principled issues arising in constantly studying and implementing the military measures to steadily update and perfect the war capabilities of the army.
The military measures discussed at the Sixth Enlarged Meeting of the Eighth Central Military Commission of the WPK serve as an epochal occasion as they made another great stride in the course of bolstering up the armed forces to further clarify the stand of the WPK and the DPRK government on the enemy moves for igniting a war and to enhance the strong defence capability and overwhelming offensive force.

Tuvo lugar el día 10 en la sede del Comité Central del Partido del Trabajo de Corea la 6ª reunión ampliada del VIII Período de la Comisión Militar Central del PTC, cuando las fuerzas armadas de la República Popular Democrática de Corea acogen el tiempo de viraje para su desarrollo en que se ponen en práctica las enérgicas medidas estratégicas para ampliar y potenciar por todos los medios el disuasivo de guerra del país, frente a las crecientes acciones en busca de la guerra de agresión de los imperialistas norteamericanos y los traidores títeres surcoreanos.
Dirigió esta cita de gran importancia militar el estimado compañero Kim Jong Un, Secretario General del PTC y Presidente de la CMC del PTC y de Asuntos Estatales de la RPDC.
Estuvieron presentes en la ocasión los miembros principales de la CMC del PTC y los comandantes de las grandes unidades combinadas del Ejército Popular de Corea en el frente.
La reunión debatió los importantes asuntos militares que se presentan en completar aun más el potencial defensivo del país y los preparativos de guerra ante la gravedad del actual estado de seguridad de la Península Coreana, donde constituyen una amenaza real las políticas y acciones militares de carácter agresivo de los imperialistas norteamericanos y los traidores títeres surcoreanos, teniendo una comprensión clara sobre ella.
Recientemente, los enemigos realizaron con frenesí los ejercicios militares conjuntos de gran envergadura, que suponen la guerra total contra la RPDC, difundiendo abiertamente los disparates belicosos como “toma de Pyongyang” y “operación de descabezamiento”.
Además, demostraron con hechos su siniestra naturaleza agresiva fomentando intencionalmente cada día los chismes conflictivos con la RPDC y acciones militares de carácter ofensivo.
A base del análisis profundo sobre la situación actual en que se hacen cada día más graves los preparativos de guerra de agresión de esos enemigos, la reunión presentó como demanda indispensable exponer con más claridad la opción militar de la RPDC y prepararse perfectamente para pasar a las acciones potentes.
Y debatió los asuntos prácticos para preparar variados proyectos de acciones militares, a que los enemigos no pueden responder con ningún medio y modo, y las medidas de organización y aprobó por unanimidad las resoluciones correspondientes.
El estimado compañero Kim Jong Un resaltó la necesidad de aumentar de manera más práctica y ofensiva el disuasivo de guerra en desarrollo acelerado y operarlo eficientemente, como medida para controlar con más rigor la cada día más agravante situación de seguridad de la Península Coreana.
Al examinar el plan operacional de ataque en el frente y varios documentos de combate, aclaró los problemas de principios que se presentan en estudiar y aplicar sin parar las medidas militares encaminadas a renovar constantemente y perfeccionar la capacidad ejecutiva de guerra del EPC.
Las medidas militares abordadas en esta ocasión constituyen un hito importante que expuso con más claridad la posición del PTC y el gobierno de la RPDC frente a las acciones provocativas de guerra de los enemigos y dio otro gran paso en el trayecto de incremento de las fuerzas armadas para consolidar el potencial defensivo y mejorar la capacidad de ataque aplastante.

10 апреля в штаб-квартире ЦК партии прошло VI расширенное заседание ЦВК ТПК восьмого созыва, которое имеет очередное важное военное значение в переломный период развития наших вооруженных сил, когда принимаются мощные стратегические меры по всестороннему расширению и укреплению силы сдерживания войны страны в ответ на нарастающие происки развязывания агрессивной войны со стороны американских империалистов и южнокорейских марионеточных предателей.
Генеральный секретарь ТПК, Председатель ЦВК ТПК, Председатель государственных дел КНДР уважаемый товарищ Ким Чен Ын председательствовал на VI расширенном заседании ЦВК ТПК восьмого созыва.
В заседании приняли участие главные члены ЦВК ТПК и командиры крупных соединений КНА фронтов.
На VI расширенном заседании ЦВК ТПК восьмого созыва обсуждены важные военные вопросы, встающие в точно понимании серьезности нынешней ситуации с безопасностью на Корейском полуострове, когда агрессивные военные политика и акты американских империалистов и южнокорейских марионеточных предателей становятся угрожающими реальностями, в дальнейшем усовершенствовании оборонных сил страны и подготовки к войне в ответ на происки врагов.
В последнее время враги, откровенно неся даже воинственные вздоры «захват Пхеньяна» и «операция по обезглавливанию», бешено провели крупномасштабные совместные военные учения, имитирующие тотальную войну против нашей Республики. Также они день за днем намеренно прибегают к конфронтационным злословиям и военным действиям наступательного характера против Республики, таким образом, действиями ясно показали свою гнусную агрессивную сущность.
На заседании на основе глубокого анализа нынешней ситуации, когда с каждым днем усиливаются происки американских империалистов и южнокорейских марионеточных предателей по подготовке к агрессивной войне, уточнили наш военный выбор и выдвинули последовательную и строгую подготовку к переходу в мощное практическое действие как необходимое требование. Также обсудили деловой вопрос для составления разных планов военных действий, на которые невозможно реагировать любыми средствами и методами, и структурно-штатные меры, единогласно приняли соответствующие постановления.
Уважаемый товарищ Ким Чен Ын подчеркнул необходимость более практичного и наступательного расширения, эффективного использования стремительно укрепляющихся наших сил сдерживания войны для дальнейшего строго контролирования с каждым днем ухудшающейся ситуации с безопасностью на Корейском полуострове.
Уважаемый товарищ Ким Чен Ын, ознакомляясь с планом фронтовой наступательной операции и разными боевыми документами, осветил принципиальные вопросы, встающие в непрерывном изучении и осуществлении военных мер по непрестанному обновлению и усовершенствованию способности армии к ведению войны.
Военные меры, обсужденные на VI расширенном заседании ЦВК ТПК восьмого созыва, служат историческим моментом, который уточнил позицию нашей партии и правительства Республики в ответ на происки противников по развязыванию войны, сделал очередной большой шаг на пути укрепления вооруженных сил для улучшения надежной обороноспособности и подавляющих наступательных сил.
