China Strongly Denounces Taiwanese Chief Executive’s “Transit” of U.S. Territory
Recently, China strongly condemned the U.S. for permitting the Taiwanese chief executive to “transit” through the U.S. territory en route to Central America and also for arranging a meeting with the Speaker of the House.
The spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry denounced as follows:
In defiance of strong protest and the repeated warnings from China, the U.S. permitted Cai Yingwen, the chief executive of Taiwan region, to “transit” through its territory; and McCarthy, the U.S. House Speaker and the number three figure in the U.S. government, met with Cai Yingwen, providing the latter with an arena for advocating “Taiwan Independence”.
The spokesperson said that developing government-level exchanges between the U.S. and Taiwan, elevating the working-level relations constitutes a flagrant violation of the principle of One China and the rules of 3 Joint Communiques, and also constitutes a grave infringement upon sovereignty and territorial integrity of China. The spokesperson expressed strong opposition and denunciation of the above and went on to clarify China ’s stand to take resolute and strong measures to defend the national sovereignty and the territorial integrity.
Meanwhile, the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National People’s Congress of China issued a statement strongly demanding that the U.S. government and Congress refrain from nullifying and derailing the principle of One China and stop the act of adventurously transcending the red line and destroying the political foundation of China-U.S. relations.
The spokesperson for the Office of Taiwan Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee also issued a statement to the effect that any attempt at “containing China by employing Taiwan” and “curbing China by backing Taiwan” by anti-Chinese forces within the U.S. cannot reverse the historic trend towards unification of China.
Chinese newspaper “China Daily” carried an article headlined “McCarthy’s Provocative Talk Destroys Trust” and warned as follows:
Whatever the excuse, the talk between the Speaker of the House and Cai Yingwen will not only precipitate the irrevocable destruction of trust in the U.S. but will also strike a heavy blow for China-U.S. relations.

China condena enérgicamente el “tránsito” por EE.UU. de la autoridad taiwanesa
Recientemente, China condenó y criticó severamente a EE.UU. con respecto a que este país permitió el “tránsito” por EE.UU. de la autoridad taiwanesa que visitaba a los países de la región de Centroamérica y que el presidente de la cámara de representantes del Congreso norteamericano se reunió con ella.
El portavoz del Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores de China criticó como sigue.
EE.UU. ignoró la seria protesta y las advertencias repetidas de China y permitió de manera obstinada el “tránsito” por EE.UU. de Tsai Ing-wen, líder de la región de Taiwán, y le ofreció un escenario para hablar de la “independencia de Taiwán” a través del encuentro entre McCarthy, presidente de la cámara de representantes del Congreso norteamericano y la tercera figura del gobierno norteamericano y Tsai Ing-wen.
El portavoz señaló que el acto de realizar visitas gubernamentales entre EE.UU. y Taiwán y de elevar las relaciones sustanciales constituye una grave violación del principio de una sola China y de las normas de los 3 comunicados conjuntos entre China y EE.UU. y un grave atentado contra la soberanía y la integridad territorial de China, y aclaró la posición de que China lo rechaza rotundamente y condena fuertemente y que tomará medidas contundentes y firmes para salvaguardar la soberanía y la integridad territorial del Estado.
Por otra parte, el Comité de Asuntos Exteriores de la Asamblea Popular Nacional de China publicó una declaración y exigió fuertemente al gobierno y al Congreso de EE.UU. el cese de los actos que convierten el principio de una sola China en uno de mero nombre y romperlo y la suspensión de los actos arriesgados que cruzan la línea roja y destruyen la base política de las relaciones China-EE.UU.
La Oficina de Asuntos de Taiwán del Comité Central del Partido Comunista de China también publicó una declaración de que ningún acto de las fuerzas de EE.UU. anti-China que pretenden “contener a China mediante Taiwán” y “detener a China mediante el apoyo a Taiwán” puede bloquear el camino histórico de la reunificación de China.
El periódico chino “China Daily”, en su artículo titulado “las provocativas conversaciones de McCarthy destruyen la confianza en EE.UU.”, advirtió que la conversación entre el presidente de la cámara de representantes del Congreso norteamericano y Tsai Ing-wen no solo acarreará destrucción irreversible a la confianza en EE.UU. sino también, asestará un gran golpe a las relaciones China-EE.UU.

Китай резко осудил «транзитную остановку» в США тайванского руководителя
Недавно Китай в связи с тем, что США допустили тайванскому руководителю транзитную остановку в Америке в ходе ее поездки в страны Центральной Америки и спикер палаты представителей Конгресса США встретился с ней, резко осудил США.
Представитель МИД КНР критиковал, что несмотря на серьезные протесты и неоднократные предупреждения Китая, США отчаянно позволили лидеру тайванского региона Цай Инвэнь «транзитную остановку» в США и спикер палаты представителей Конгресса США Маккарти, являющийся третьем лицом в правительстве США, встретился с Цай Инвэнь, тем самым предоставили ей площадку выступления за «независимость Тайваня».
Далее представитель отметил, что проведение визитов на уровне правительства между США и Тайванем и повышение фактических отношений обеих сторон на высший степень являются серьезным нарушением принципа одного Китая и правил трех совместных коммюнике и грубым посягательством суверенитета и территориальной целостности Китая. Также он заявил позицию, что Китай категорически против и резко осуждает это, и предпримет решительные и усиленные меры для защиты суверенитета страны и ее территориальной целостности.
В свою очередь, комитет по внешним делам Всекитайского собрания народных представителей опубликовал заявление, в котором категорически потребовал от правительства и конгресса США прекратить те акты, превращающие принцип одного Китая в непригодный и пробивающие брешь, также остановить действие, пересекающее красную линию и разрушающее политическую основу китайско-американских отношений.
Представитель Канцелярии ЦК КПК по делам Тайваня также выступил с заявлением о том, что какие бы то ни были акты антикитайских сил США, пытающихся «задерживать Китай с использованием Тайваня» и «сдерживать Китай посредством оказания помощи Тайваню», они не могут преградить исторический путь к объединению Китая.
Китайская газета «China Daily» поместила статью под заголовком «провокационные переговоры Маккарти разрушают доверие к США» и предупредила, что, хотя США пытаются оправдаться, переговоры между спикером палаты представителей Конгресса и Цай Инвэнь не только повлекут за собой непоправимый подрыв доверия к США, но и наносят серьезные удары по китайско-американским отношениям.
