Russia Slams U.S. for Convening “Summit for Democracy”
Recently, the U.S. has convened the 2nd “Summit for Democracy”. In this regard, the spokeswoman for the Russian foreign ministry released a commentary in which she branded as the height of hypocrisy the attempt of the U.S. to spearhead the worldwide establishment of the values on democracy.
She exposed the ulterior purpose of the U.S. behind its convocation of the “Summit for Democracy”. She argued that it is to renew the means of interfering in internal affairs of sovereign states and controlling them externally, and compel all other countries to see the world through the lens of “rules-based order”.
The U.S., which is rife with chronic problems, has no moral right to admonish other countries, she continued.
She also resolutely rejected the U.S. act of compelling other countries to accept American-style “democracy” as the only “standard.”
The spokeswoman for the Russian foreign ministry stressed that the multipolar world order is being firmly established thanks to the cooperation among most of the countries in the world.
She then contended that the U.S. should lose no time in abiding by the international law and norms and joining the efforts to lay the groundwork for peaceful co-existence and mutual cooperation.
Meanwhile, the Russian foreign minister, at an interview with Cuban press, criticized that the 2nd “Summit for Democracy” which is being held under the chairmanship of Biden does not have a clear criterion for participation, and if there is any, the “loyalty” to the Democratic Party of the U.S. stands as the one and only criterion.

Rusia critica fuertemente la convocación de la “Cumbre Mundial para la Democracia” por EE.UU.
Con respecto a la reciente convocación de la segunda “Cumbre Mundial para la Democracia” por EE.UU., la portavoz del Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores de Rusia publicó un comentario en el cual tildó de colmo de la hipocresía el intento de EE.UU. que pretende liderar el establecimiento de la concepción de valores democráticos a escala mundial.
Ella reveló que la convocación de la “Cumbre Mundial para la Democracia” por EE.UU. persigue el objetivo de renovar y legitimar los medios para la intervención en los asuntos internos de los Estados soberanos y el control externo y forzar a que todos los países miren al mundo a través de los lentes del “orden basado en las reglas”.
A continuación, ella expresó que EE.UU. tiene muchos problemas crónicos y no tiene ningún derecho moral para aconsejar a otros países, y rechazó firmemente imponer la “democracia” norteamericana como el único cartabón a otros países.
Tras enfatizar que está estableciéndose sólidamente el orden del mundo multipolar bajo la colaboración de la mayoría de los países del mundo, la portavoz del Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores de Rusia planteó que EE.UU. tiene que observar cuanto antes las normas del derecho internacional y unirse a la labor de preparación de las condiciones para la coexistencia pacífica y realización de la cooperación de beneficio mutuo.
Por otra parte, el canciller ruso, en una entrevista con un medio de prensa de Cuba, criticó diciendo que la pauta de la participación de la segunda “Cumbre Mundial para la Democracia” presidida por Biden no es clara y solo la “lealtad” al partido demócrata de EE.UU. sirve de la única pauta.

Россия резко критиковала созыв США «международного саммита за демократию»
Недавно в связи с созывом США второго «международного саммита за демократию» официальный представитель МИД России опубликовала комментарий, где назвала попытку США претендовать на лидерство в продвижении демократических ценностей в общемировом масштабе верхом лицемерия.
Она разоблачила, что цель созыва США «международного саммита за демократию» заключается в том, чтобы обновить и узаконить инструменты внешнего контроля и вмешательства во внутренние дела суверенных государств и заставить все страны смотреть на мир через оптику «порядка, основанного на правилах».
Далее она отметила, что США, имеющие хронические проблемы, не имеют никакого морального права читать нотации другим странам, и решительно опровергла попытки США навязать американскую «демократию» в качестве единственной «меры вещей».
Официальный представитель подтвердила, что при содействии мирового большинства уверенно формируется многополярный порядок, и настояла на том, что США давно пора вернуться к соблюдению норм международного права и подключиться к усилиям по созданию условий для мирного сосуществования и взаимовыгодного сотрудничества.
Также Министр иностранных дел России в интервью с прессой Кубы критиковал, что не ясен критерий для участия во втором «международном саммите за демократию» и единственным критерием является «лояльность» к нынешней демократической партии США.

俄罗斯强烈谴责美国召开“领导人民主峰会”
前不久，俄罗斯外交部发言人就美国召开第二届“领导人民主峰会”发表社评称，美国在全世界范围主导确立民主价值观的企图极其虚伪。
文章指出，美国召开“领导人民主峰会”，旨在更新干涉并控制主权国家内政的手段并把它加以合理化，强迫各国通过“基于规则的秩序”透镜看待世界。
他强烈谴责美国强迫他国视美式“民主”为唯一的“尺度”，指出美国自身问题累累、千疮百孔，故而，没有训诫他国的任何道德权利。
他主张，在世界大多数国家的共同努力下，多级国际秩序正在确立，美国理应早日走上遵守国际法律法规、创造和平共存、互利共赢条件的道路。
此外，俄罗斯外长接受古巴媒体采访时谴责，拜登主持的第二届“领导人民主峰会”没有清晰的与会标准，对美国民主党的“忠诚”才是唯一的标准。（完）
