Venezuelan Communists Call on the World Revolutionary Movement to Unite in Defense of Venezuela
The National Leadership of the Communist Party of Venezuela categorically rejects the recent statements made by the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, in which he seeks to label Venezuela a “terrorist nation” in order to justify his intention to seize all the natural resources that belong collectively to the Venezuelan people.
What is happening today is no different from what occurred in 1902, when Venezuelan coasts were blockaded by the British, German, and Italian empires, initiating an aggression against our homeland. At that time, the firm unity of all patriots made it possible to confront the most powerful empires of the era and force them to retreat from their ambitions.
Today, once again, our homeland is being threatened by the most powerful military empire humanity has ever known, with the clear intention of appropriating all our wealth, especially our oil and our lands.
Venezuelan communists call upon the men and women of our homeland, the international communist movement, and progressive and revolutionary parties around the world to stand at the forefront against this imperialist aggression directed at Venezuela. Today this attempted invasion targets Venezuela; tomorrow it will move against Colombia and Mexico, until all of Latin America and the Caribbean are turned into a “backyard,” as proclaimed by the Trump Corollary and the Monroe Doctrine.
They shall not pass!
In the face of imperialist aggression, unity of our people, together with all revolutionaries of the world!

Comunistas venezolanos hacemos un llamado al movimiento revolucionario mundial a la unidad en defensa de Venezuela
La Dirección Nacional del Partido Comunista de Venezuela, rechaza contundentemente las últimas declaraciones del Presidente de los Estados Unidos de Norteamérica, Donald Trump, de considerar a Venezuela una Nación Terrorista, para justificar la pretendida intención de quedarse con todos los recursos Naturales que pertenecen a todos y cada uno de los Venezolanos y Venezolanas.
Hoy sucede lo mismo que en 1902 cuando las costas Venezolanas fueron bloqueadas por los Imperios Británico, Alemán e Italiano y empezó una agresión contra nuestra Patria, la cual mediante la unidad de todos y cada uno de los patriotas, enfrentaron los imperios más poderosos del momento y se les hizo retroceder en sus intenciones.
Hoy nuevamente nuestra Patria es amenazada por el imperio armamentístico más poderoso de la humanidad, con la intención de apoderarse de todas nuestras riquezas, especialmente nuestro Petróleo y todas las tierras.
Los comunistas Venezolanos hacemos un llamado a los hombres y mujeres de nuestra Patria, al movimiento comunista Internacional, a los Partidos progresistas y revolucionarios del mundo a salirle al frente a esta agresión imperial contra nuestra Patria. Hoy esta pretendida invasión es contra Venezuela, mañana irá por Colombia, México, hasta que convierta a toda la América Latina y el Caribe en “Patio Trasero” tal como lo manifiesta en el Corolario de Trump y la Doctrina Monroe.
¡No pasarán!
¡Ante la agresión Imperialista, Unidad de nuestro Pueblo, con todos y todas las revolucionarias del mundo!

Nous, communistes vénézuéliens, appelons le mouvement révolutionnaire mondial à s’unir pour défendre le Venezuela.
La direction nationale du Parti communiste vénézuélien rejette catégoriquement les récentes déclarations du président des États-Unis d’Amérique, Donald Trump, qui considère le Venezuela comme une nation terroriste afin de justifier son intention présumée de s’approprier toutes les ressources naturelles qui appartiennent à l’ensemble du peuple vénézuélien.
Aujourd’hui, la situation est similaire à celle de 1902, lorsque les côtes vénézuéliennes ont été bloquées par les empires britannique, allemand et italien et qu’une agression contre notre patrie a commencé. Grâce à l’unité de tous les patriotes, ceux-ci ont affronté les empires les plus puissants de l’époque et les ont contraints à renoncer à leurs intentions.
Aujourd’hui, notre patrie est à nouveau menacée par l’empire militariste le plus puissant de l’humanité, qui a l’intention de s’emparer de toutes nos richesses, en particulier de notre pétrole et de toutes nos terres.
Nous, communistes vénézuéliens, appelons les hommes et les femmes de notre patrie, le mouvement communiste international, les partis progressistes et révolutionnaires du monde entier à faire face à cette agression impérialiste contre notre patrie. Aujourd’hui, cette invasion présumée vise le Venezuela, demain elle s’étendra à la Colombie, au Mexique, jusqu’à ce qu’elle transforme toute l’Amérique latine et les Caraïbes en « arrière-cour », comme le stipulent le corollaire Trump et la doctrine Monroe.
Ils ne passeront pas !
Face à l’agression impérialiste, unissons notre peuple à tous les révolutionnaires du monde !
