PDP Submits Protest Letter Calling for Maduro’s Release, U.S. Embassy Refuses

In the early morning of the 6th, the People’s Democracy Party (PDP) held a party rally in front of the U.S. Embassy in Seoul and immediately afterward attempted to deliver a protest letter titled “Release Maduro! Down with Imperialism!” to the embassy.

As PDP members moved toward the U.S. Embassy, they were blocked by police. The South Korean police defended the U.S. Embassy, stating that the embassy had refused to accept the protest letter.

In response, the People’s Democracy Party held a protest speech strongly condemning the South Korean police for obstructing the delivery of the protest letter to the U.S. Embassy.
