According to reports on the 12th, pro-U.S. countries in the Gulf region continue to come under attack. Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior announced on X that “(Iran) targeted fuel tanks in Muharraq Governorate.”
Near Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, a container ship was attacked by an unidentified projectile at sea. A large fire also broke out on Muharraq Island, where Bahrain International Airport is located.
In Kuwait, a drone crashed into a residential building, injuring two people. Saudi Arabia said it intercepted and shot down a drone heading toward the diplomatic quarter in the capital, Riyadh.
Meanwhile, Iran’s semi-official Mehr News Agency reported that a building in Tehran associated with the state-owned Bank Sepah was attacked overnight. The report also warned that banks across West Asia (the Middle East) linked to the United States and Israel could be targeted.
In addition, offices of major U.S. tech companies in Israel and the Gulf region were named as potential targets. The semi-official Tasnim News Agency stated that “as the regional war expands into an infrastructure war, the range of Iran’s potential targets is gradually widening,” and mentioned offices of Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and Nvidia in the Gulf and Israel as possible targets.
