Ezgi Yergin, a comrade from EKA (Labor Women), who was arrested and imprisoned following home raids on June 15, was released on 13 October after her first court hearing.
Her release comes amid the ongoing repression of anti-NATO and anti-government forces in Turkey. Political activists continue to face arrests and imprisonment under the Erdoğan government’s repressive policies.
While Yergin has been released, the struggle for freedom for all political prisoners continues.
Tear down the prisons! Freedom for all political prisoners!
