‘No to the repression against the PDP!’ Solidarity from the CP of Armenia

On Sep. 30, a delegation from the People’s Democracy Party (PDP) visited the Communist Party of Armenia and met with the party’s leadership.

The CP of Armenia was founded in July 1991 after the collapse of the Soviet Union. With a clear position of anti-US, anti-NATO, and anti-European Union, the CP of Armenia has been struggling to restore the Soviet-style socialist system after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

The PDP delegation explained that since South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol’s government took power in May 2022, South Korean society has been facing a deepening economic crisis and breakdown of people’s livelihoods, especially intensifying public security crackdowns on constitutional political parties and social organizations to deflect the political crisis. And they added that the fascist situation in South Korea is closely linked to the international situation of World War 3, and showed a statement issued on August 30 condemning the crackdown on the PDP.

Including the GS of the Party, members of the Party and members of the Youth Wings expressed their solidarity with the slogans such as “Down with Fascist Warmonger Yoon Suk-yeol!”, “Stop fascist repression against the PDP!”, and “Abolish the National Security Law!”.
