Protest against Partnership between Serbia, Israel and USA
On the 14th July, a protest was held at the Marx and Engels Square in Belgrade, near the National Assembly building, against the conference “Partnership of Serbia, Israel, and the USA”, which was announced to be held on the 15th July in the National Assembly building, organized by the Serbian-American Friendship Congress. The protest was jointly organized by the NKPJ-SKOJ, RNP-F, and the Association for the Defense of Humanity.
The Executive Secretary of the NKPJ and municipal assembly member in Zemun, comrade Aleksandar Đenić, stated in his speech that it is shameful that the conference will be held in the National Assembly, an institution that, for the past 25 years, does not belong to the people of Serbia. He emphasized that a particular disgrace for Belgrade, Serbia, and all its citizens, is the fact that the conference will be opened by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Ana Brnabić, and that a delegation from the United States, a country that carried out aggression against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in 1999, will be present at the opening.
Comrade Đenić emphasized that solidarity protests with the people of Federal Republic of Yugoslavia were held during the NATO aggression against our country, both in Gaza and in the Palestinian municipality of Ramallah. Instead of supporting the brotherly Palestinian people, the authorities in Serbia are profiting from its suffering and the Israeli genocide being carried out against them. Particularly scandalous is the statement of President Aleksandar Vučić, who takes pride in the fact that Serbia was the only one to sell weapons to Israel at a time when no other country in Europe was doing so.
The people of Serbia understand have suffered through imperialist aggression, sanctions and wars, and therefore it is a disgrace that the authorities, in the name of the people, are aiding the genocide against Palestinian civilians. While the majority of citizens stand firmly with the people of Palestine, institutions in Serbia avoid offering support to the Palestinian people every day. One example is the Municipality of Zemun, a sister municipality to the Palestinian municipality of Ram, whose officials, except for Comrade Đenić, did not even receive the Palestinian ambassador, who came to lay flowers in honor of the liberators of Zemun in World War II.
The freedom-loving people of Palestine have the right to their own state, while the Zionist regime continuously commits crimes against innocent civilians. The entire freedom-loving world, all socialist, anti-imperialist countries, as well as those in BRICS—support the people of Palestine. Therefore we are sending the message that the people of Serbia also have a duty to stand on the side of those fighting against Western imperialism, as this is a fundamental prerequisite for our own survival.
The NKPJ and SKOJ, together with other participants of the protest, call on all progressive and anti-imperialist forces in the country to unite in a common front that will reject NATO’s occupation of our country, cooperation with Zionist Israel, the USA, and Western imperialism in general.

ODRŽAN PROTEST PROTIV PARTNERSTVA SRBIJE SA IZRAELOM I SJEDINJENIM DRŽAVAMA
Juče je na Trgu Marksa i Engela u Beogradu, u neposrednoj blizini Doma Narodne skupštine, održan protest protiv konferencije „Partnerstvo Srbije, Izraela i SAD“ koji u Narodnoj skupštini danas organizuje Kongres srpsko-američkog prijateljstva. Protest su zajednički organizovali NKPJ-SKOJ, RNP-F i Mreža za odbranu čovečanstva.
Izvršni Sekretar NKPJ i odbornik u Skupštini opštine Zemun, drug Aleksandar Đenić, je u svom govoru naveo da je sramotno to što će se konferencija održati u Narodnoj skupštini, instituciji koja već 25 godina ne pripada narodu Srbije. Posebna sramota za Beograd, Srbiju i sve njene građane jeste činjenica da će konferenciju otvoriti predsednica Skupštine Ana Brnabić, kao i da će na otvaranju biti prisutna delegacija iz Sjedinjenih Američkih Država, zemlje koja je izvršila agresiju na SR Jugoslaviju 1999. godine.
Drug Đenić je istakao da su upravo tokom NATO agresije na našu zemlju održani protesti podrške SR Jugoslaviji kako u Gazi, tako i u palestinskoj opštini Ramali. Umesto da pruže podršku bratskom palestinskom narodu, vlasti u Srbiji zarađuju na patnji ovog naroda i izraelskom genocidu koji se vrši nad njim. Posebno je skandalozna izjava predsednika Aleksandra Vučića, koji se ponosi činjenicom da je Srbija prodavala oružje Izraelu u trenutku kada to nije činila ni jedna zemlja u Evropi.
Narod Srbije dobro razume šta znači imperijalistička agresija, sankcije i ratovi, te je sramota što vlasti u njegovo ime potpomažu genocid nad palestinskim civilima. Dok većina građana stoji čvrsto uz narod Palestine, institucije u Srbiji svakodnevno izbegavaju da pruže podršku narodu Palestine u nevolji. Jedan od primera je i Opština Zemun, inače pobratimska opština sa palestinskom opštinom Ram, čiji se odbronici, sa izuzetkom druga Đenića, nisu udostojili da ugoste palestinskog ambasadora koji je položio venac u čast oslobodilaca Zemuna u Drugom svetskom ratu.
Slobodarski narod Palestine ima pravo na svoju državu, dok cionistički režim neprestano čini zločine nad nedužnim stanovništvom. Ceo slobodarski svet, sve socijalističke, anti-imperijalističke, kao i zemlje koje se nalaze u BRICS-u podržavaju narod Palestine, i mi šaljemo poruku da i narod Srbije ima dužnost da bude na strani naroda koji se bore protiv zapadnog imperijalizma, jer je to sam preduslov i našeg opstanka.
NKPJ i SKOJ, zajedno sa ostalim učestnicima protesta, pozivaju sve progresivne i anti-imperijalističke snage u zemlji na ujedinjenje u zajednički front koji će odbaciti NATO okupaciju naše zemlje, saradnju sa cionističkim Izraelom, SAD-om i Zapadnim imperijalizmom generalno.
