Urgent Alert: Release Leaders of the Mazdoor Kisan Party (Worker-Peasant Party) in Pakistan
Leaders of the Mazdoor Kisan Party—Salar Amjad Ali, Momin Khan Shalmani, Waris Khan Amir, Muhammad Alam, Manzoor Khan, Sparlay Ghorzang, and Zeeshan—have been arrested after having their bail revoked under baseless and false charges. We vehemently condemn this brutal and tyrannical action by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.
These arrests are a clear attempt to protect powerful elements seeking to seize land from local farmers. The Mazdoor Kisan Party has a long history of fighting for the land rights of the farmers of Hashtnagar, and we declare that we will not retreat a single inch. This land belongs to the farmers who cultivated it, not to feudal lords or state-sponsored land mafias.
We demand:
The immediate release of all arrested Mazdoor Kisan Party leaders and farmers.
The immediate withdrawal of all false and fabricated cases against them.
An end to state institutions backing the oppressors and a commitment to upholding justice.
This is a struggle for the rights and dignity of every person fighting for justice. We will continue nationwide protests until our comrades are freed. This is a fight for the dignity, land, and ownership rights of the farmers, and we will fight it until our last breath.
