CIRAC and FUSS screen “Nicolás” in San Salvador

On November 23, in San Salvador, El Salvador, the film about the life of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, ‘Nicolás’ screened in the office of Coordinator of the Rafael Aguiñada Carranza Inter-Union Committee (CIRAC).

The event is hosted by the CIRAC and Unitary Trade Union Federation of El Salvador (FUSS).

The CIRAC is a nationwide alliance of social, labor, and popular organizations in El Salvador, founded around 2008. It carries forward the traditions of the popular movement that emerged during the period of military dictatorship and the civil war. The name “Rafael Aguiñada Carranza” refers to a leader of the Communist Party of El Salvador, secretary-general of the FUSS, and a member of the National Assembly with the National Democratic Union(UDN), who was assassinated by the military dictatorship in 1975.

El Salvador doesn’t have the embassy of Venezuela by the policy of the pro-US imperialist government. After the film screening, participants expressed their solidarity for Venezuela.
