Ceremony of Awarding State Commendations to Commanding Officers and Combatants of KPA Overseas Operation Unit Takes Place
Pyongyang, August 22 (KCNA) — The outstanding fighting spirit and bravery of the Korean People’s Army reliably guaranteeing the ever-victorious tradition of the Juche revolution with invincible arms are writing the legendary biography of heroes unprecedented in history, bringing the mightiness and sacred prestige of our state to the top of the world.
The combatants of the armed forces of the Republic who took part in overseas military operations in hearty response to the order of the Central Military Commission of the Workers’ Party of Korea demonstrated to the whole world the transparent and outstanding ideological and spiritual superiority and fighting spirit of the KPA which no army in the world can match and the indomitable mettle of Koreans by weathering heavy gunfire in bloody life-and-death battles.
A ceremony of awarding state commendations to the commanding officers and combatants of the overseas military operations units of the KPA was held at the headquarters building of the Central Committee of the WPK.
Officials of the WPK Central Committee warmly greeted the brave soldiers who participated in the war, entering the yard of the Party Central Committee after traveling tens of thousands of miles in response to the ardent desire and sincere call of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un to glorify the life of the great successors and representatives, who firmly carried forward the tradition of victory peculiar to our state in the new century, with the honour of gold star.
Secretaries and other senior officials of the WPK Central Committee warmly congratulated the proud sons of the country putting garlands around their necks and giving bouquets.
The venue of the ceremony was full of respect for the brave soldiers who participated in the war with boundless loyalty to the order of the country.
Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, attended the ceremony.
Present at the ceremony were commanding officers and combatants who performed distinguished feats in overseas military operations, and bereaved families of martyrs.
Present there were members of the Central Military Commission of the WPK, leading commanding officers of the Ministry of National Defence and military and political officers of the large combined units of the KPA.
The DPRK national anthem was played solemnly.
The solemn melody of the national anthem, which redoubled pride of being the sons of the powerful country and the ardent patriotic desire in every moment of their life in the days of the decisive battles and inspired them to be in the van of the charge and to win immortal victories, made the hearts of the brave soldiers full of strong emotion.

Expressing his deep emotion of seeing again the admirable sons, heroes of the country who are the greatest pride of our state and waited by all the people at such a significant place and of awarding the title of DPRK Hero and high-level state commendations to them, he extended deep gratitude and warmest militant respect on behalf of the Party and the government to the commanding officers and combatants of the overseas military operations units who returned home with great honour and brilliant feats after bravely fighting as befitting the “Koreans” and the “Korean People’s Army” despite the hail of bullets and bombs of the life-and-death war in the foreign country.
The WPK Central Committee organized a ceremony of awarding state commendations with splendor at the headquarters building of the WPK Central Committee out of the mind to hold up the admirable heroes, who performed feats in the battlefield to defend the sacred prestige and dignity of the state, before the country and the people and make them respected and praised by the whole country, he said, adding that this is a special and valuable commendation given by the country and the people to the honourable victors who performed great exploits that cannot be achieved without bloody struggle.
He said that holding the first awarding ceremony today, he misses even at this moment the images of the combatants who would be devoting themselves to carrying out their duties true to the order of the country and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives and that he could not repress his regret at failing to bring them all together to this glorious place, and courteously proposed to pay silent tribute to the immortality of the martyrs who devoted their precious lives in the overseas military operations.
At the proposal of Kim Jong Un, all the participants observed a moment’s silence in memory of the martyrs who ensured the great victory with their indomitable fighting spirit and noble sacrifice.
Saying that all the participants in the overseas operations who performed great feats to be recorded in the history of the country for its eternal prosperity and mightiness are all great men, great heroes and great patriots, Kim Jong Un said with pride that the victory won by the brave soldiers who participated in the war is a great feat that firmly defended the great honour of the KPA, which should never be undermined, and provided a sure guarantee for the existence and development of our state and a victory to be recorded as a miracle in the history of our army building and the anti-imperialist revolutionary struggle and, at the same time, an event in the history of world wars that redefined the logic of the strong which has been handed down for thousands of years.
The combat activities of the overseas military operations units, representing the armed forces of the DPRK, in the battlefield which became the focus of the world have fully proved the might of the heroic KPA which emerges victorious with the sure superiority in ideology, spirit and Juche-oriented strategy and tactics, he said, adding that what the Party Central Committee attaches importance to and appreciates most is that the reputation of the ever-victorious KPA has been most rigorously verified in its 70-odd-year history and the actual condition of the KPA fully prepared for the war has been clearly confirmed.
And he warmly said that today’s awarding ceremony is an expression of gratitude and valuable appreciation of our Party, state and people for the historic deed of perfectly implementing the political decision made by the Party and government for the destiny and future of the country and of defending the great honour safeguarded by all generations of the DPRK for decades.
Referring to the outstanding valour and noble self-sacrificing spirit displayed by our service personnel in the operational area where bullets and shells showered, Kim Jong Un said that they should be called the best heroes and the overseas military operations units the heroic unit and stressed that the key to the event of the victorious conclusion of overseas military operations lies not in the merits of some distinguished military men or heroes but in the popular character of heroism from A to Z and in the fact that the noble and beautiful mental and moral traits firmly dominated as the ideological feelings of all officers and men.
Saying that all the participants in the overseas operations were thoroughgoing in executing orders, the original nature of the soldiers, and their love and devotion for the country and comrades-in-arms were at the same high level and they all had good moral quality of remaining loyal to their duties and making a choice according to conscience even at the last moment of their lives, he noted that with such extraordinary mental qualities, they let the world know what fundamental factor made our army strong and surely win in any battle, and this is an event that clearly marked the concept of the strong army and the law of victory on the times and history.
He stressed that it is the pride and honour of the WPK and the DPRK government to have such an army as the pioneer and defender of their revolutionary cause and that the country defended by the heroic army is strong forever and the cause advancing with the heroic army in the vanguard is invincible.
Referring to the important measures to be carried out as a national undertaking to hand down forever the feats of the great war participants, he affirmed that the glorious course pioneered by the brave soldiers’ bloody struggle and the noble lives of the martyrs would never end and the records of the bloody battles bearing their names would shine forever as the most precious pages in the history of the country.
Saying that our state will remain dignified, powerful and strong forever thanks to such great heroes as them and our army will carry forward the trend of the great history of war victory for all ages with their peculiar loyalty and heroic stamina, he wished the heroic officers and men of the overseas military operations units, who recorded the highest and brilliant climax in the long history of victory of our people and the absolute prestige of the revolutionary armed forces, immortal glory.
The speech of Kim Jong Un, full of ardent love and true heart of the great father, stirred up the hearts of all the participants.
All the participants expressed their greatest respect and boundless gratitude to Kim Jong Un, who clarified the clear strategy for victory in the battle with his outstanding military idea and extraordinary strategic and tactical wisdom, instilled the might and courage of annihilation into them with warm parental enthusiasm and affection and now puts them forward as great heroes and great patriots at the peak of the honour.
A decree of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK on conferring the title of DPRK Hero, order and medal on commanding officers and combatants who performed feats in overseas military operations was conveyed.
Kim Jong Un personally awarded the title of DPRK Hero to the skilled military commanding officers who led the combat units of the armed forces of the Republic to victory and to the soldiers who performed distinguished feats.
He personally fixed the DPRK Hero Medal beside the portraits of the martyrs, recollecting with reverence the noble images of the martyrs, who sacrificed their youth and lives warming their hearts with one faith and one will to thoroughly carry out the order of the country, and their last moments.
At the venue of the ceremony, the “Song of Comradeship”, reflecting the sacred history of the Korean revolution pioneered, advanced and emerged victorious with comradeship, resounded. And the touching picture to be immortal in the history of the country was seen conveying the warm blood ties between the leader and the soldiers.
Kim Jong Un laid a flower before the memorial wall and paid silent tribute, wishing that the noble life of the martyrs who participated in the war to defend the dignity and honour of the great state with their precious lives would shine forever as a star of eternal feats in the memory of the country and the people.
Members of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK, commanding officers of the Ministry of National Defence, military and political officers of the large combined units of the KPA and the bereaved families of the martyrs laid flowers before the memorial wall.
Kim Jong Un met the bereaved families of the martyrs and consoled them, sharing with them the pain of loss.
Army Col. General Kim Yong Bok, commander of the special operations unit, made a resolution speech on behalf of all the officers and men of the overseas military operations units.
Expressing the impression of having the greatest honour of receiving the highest commendation of the DPRK at the headquarters building of the Party Central Committee, the general staff of the Korean revolution, he said that the officers and men of the overseas military operations units more keenly felt the good fortune of soldiers of being led by the great brilliant commander in the foreign battlefield and kept it as their faith the iron truth that they would surely win if they fought only as taught by Kim Jong Un.
All the commanding officers and combatants of the overseas military operations units, faithful soldiers of Kim Jong Un, guardsmen of the Republic and sons of the heroic DPRK people, will devotedly defend the authority of the Party Central Committee and firmly safeguard the honour of the country, honour of the KPA and honour of the DPRK people till the day of returning home, he said, solemnly pledging to remain faithful to the mission and duty as the army of the Party, the people and the Supreme Commander, cherishing today’s valuable commendations as absolute trust.

Efectuada la ceremonia de otorgamiento de condecoraciones estatales a los comandantes y combatientes de las unidades de operación en extranjero del EPC
Pyongyang, 22 de agosto (ACNC) — El Ejército Popular de Corea, que garantiza con armas invencibles la tradición victoriosa de la revolución del Juche, escribe con su distinguido espíritu combativo y valentía la biografía legendaria y heroica sin precedente en la historia llevando al plano más cimero del mundo la grandeza y prestigio sagrado de nuestro Estado.
Los combatientes de las fuerzas armadas de la República Popular Democrática de Corea (RPDC), quienes tomaron parte en la operación militar en el extranjero en acato a la orden de la Comisión Militar Central (CMC) del Partido del Trabajo de Corea (PTC), libraron las batallas ensangrentadas de vida o muerte manifestando a todo el mundo la superioridad ideo-espiritual y el temperamento combativo del firme y prominente EPC, incomparables con ningún ejército del mundo, y el ímpetu indoblegable de los coreanos.
Tuvo lugar en la sede del Comité Central del PTC la ceremonia de otorgamiento de condecoraciones estatales a los comandantes y combatientes de las unidades de operación en extranjero del EPC.
Los funcionarios del CC del PTC acogieron cordialmente a los soldados valientes quienes llegaron desde lejos según la llamada del camarada Kim Jong Un para honrar con medallas a los combatientes quienes llevaron de continuo al nuevo siglo también la tradición de victorias, la típica de nuestro Estado.
Los secretarios y otros directivos del CC del PTC felicitaron con collares y ramos de flores a los hijos loables de la patria.
El lugar de ceremonia rebosaba de reverencia a los soldados infinitamente fieles a las órdenes de la patria.
A la ocasión asistió el estimado camarada Kim Jong Un, Secretario General del PTC y Presidente de Asuntos Estatales de la RPDC.
En el acto tomaron parte los comandantes y combatientes quienes hicieron méritos prominentes en susodicha operación y los familiares de los mártires.
Y estuvieron presentes los miembros de la CMC del PTC, los principales mandos del Ministerio de Defensa Nacional (MINDEN) y los comandantes militares y políticos de las grandes unidades combinadas del EPC.
Se interpretó con solemnidad el himno nacional de la RPDC.
Conmovieron a los militares las melodías del himno nacional que en los momentos combativos les llamaron al ataque por la victoria eterna dándoles el orgullo de ser hijos de la patria poderosa y la fuerte pasión patriótica.
El Secretario General pronunció las palabras.
Expuso su emoción por volver a reunirse en este lugar tan significativo con los loables hijos, héroes del país quienes son orgullos de nuestro Estado y está esperándolos todo el pueblo coreano, y conferirles el Título del Héroe de la República y otras condecoraciones estatales de alto grado. Y en representación del Partido y el gobierno, dio un agradecimiento sincero y el más cálido saludo combativo a los miembros de mando y los combatientes de las unidades de operación en el extranjero quienes regresaron dignamente a la patria con el gran honor y méritos brillantes al luchar con valentía como “coreanos” y “Ejército Popular de Corea” en medio de batallas enconadas que decidían la vida o muerte.
Dijo que el CC del Partido organizó solemnemente esta ceremonia en la sede del CC del PTC con el propósito de presentar ante la patria y el pueblo a los héroes quienes realizaron proezas en defensa de la autoridad y dignidad sagradas del Estado y para que todo el país venerara a ellos. Prosiguió que esto deviene un premio especial y valioso que les entregan la patria y el pueblo a los triunfadores honrosos quienes acumularon gran mérito alcanzable sólo en la lucha ensangrentada.
En esta primera ceremonia de condecoración aparecen ante los ojos los combatientes, que también en estos momentos están en el cumplimiento de las misiones en fiel apoyo a las órdenes de la patria, y los mártires caídos, dijo y continuó que siente apenado por no reunirnos con todos ellos en este sitio tan glorioso. Y propuso cortésmente guardar un momento de silencio por la eternidad de los mártires quienes dedicaron su vida valiosa en la operación militar en el extranjero.
Según la propuesta del Secretario General, todos los participantes guardaron un momento de silencio en memoria de los mártires quienes alcanzaron la victoria tan costosa con su indoblegable espíritu combativo y sacrificio.
Calificó de gran hombre, gran héroe y gran patriota a los participantes en la operación ultramarina quienes lograron grandes proezas dignas de registrarse en los anales para la prosperidad y poderío eternos de la patria.
Señaló con tono orgulloso que la victoria alcanzada por ellos constituye un gran mérito que ha preservado con firmeza el gran honor del EPC, que jamás debe ser dañado, y preparado una firme garantía para la existencia y desarrollo de nuestro Estado, y una victoria a ser registrada como milagro en nuestra historia de construcción del ejército y de la lucha revolucionaria antiimperialista, así como un evento en el mapa de guerra mundial que reestableció la teoría del fuerte mantenida durante muchos años.
Afirmó que las actividades de estas unidades, que representaron a las fuerzas armadas de la RPDC en el campo de batalla donde se ha centrado el foco de lente mundial, evidenciaron sin reserva el poderío del heroico EPC que sale siempre victorioso con la superioridad ideo-espiritual y de estrategias y tácticas típicas.
Lo que prioriza más y valora con satisfacción el CC del PTC es que la fama del invicto EPC fue revisada con mayor rigor en su historia de más de 70 años y que fue confirmada la situación actual de nuestro ejército, perfectamente preparado para la guerra, puntualizó.
Agregó que la presente ceremonia resulta un testimonio de agradecimiento y una alta evaluación de nuestro Partido, Estado y pueblo sobre un acontecimiento histórico que ha implementado perfectamente la decisión política tomada por el Partido y el Gobierno en aras del destino y futuro de la patria y defendido el gran honor mantenido por todas las generaciones de la RPDC durante varios decenios.
Refiriéndose a la valentía excepcional y la consagración noble que mostraron nuestros oficiales y soldados en las zonas operacionales bajo lluvias de balas y explosiones, apuntó que les merece calificarlos de héroes de los héroes y de heroína a la unidad de operación en extranjero.
Enfatizó que la llave de la conclusión victoriosa de esas operaciones está no en los méritos de unos militares o héroes excepcionales, sino en el carácter masivo del heroísmo y en que los más nobles y hermosos rasgos espirituales y morales dominaban como sentimiento ideológico de todos los oficiales y soldados.
Aseveró que los participantes en la operación en extranjero fueron tan idénticos tanto en la perfección del cumplimiento de las órdenes como en el fervor del patriotismo y camaradería y en la consagración, y también fue loable la moralidad con que todos fueron fieles a su obligación y tomaron una opción digna a su conciencia hasta en el momento final de su vida.
Agregó que con tales cualidades espirituales descomunales ellos dieron a conocer a todo el mundo con qué es fuerte nuestro ejército y cuál es el factor principal que le permite lograr sin falta las victorias en cualquier batalla. Y prosiguió que esto constituye otra oportunidad que dejó grabados en la época y la historia el concepto sobre el ejército poderoso y la legitimidad de la victoria en la batalla.
Poniendo énfasis en que es un orgullo y gloria del PTC y el gobierno de la RPDC contar con ese ejército como explorador y defensor de su causa revolucionaria, declaró que será poderoso para siempre el país defendido por él y saldrá siempre victoriosa la empresa que avanza teniéndolo a la cabeza.
Refirió a las medidas importantes a ser ejecutadas como tareas estatales a fin de transmitir generación tras generación los méritos de los participantes en la operación y aseguró que no se finalizarán el trayecto glorioso explorado con sangre por ellos y la vida noble de los caídos y que los registros de combate con sus nombres se quedarán eternamente en los anales de la patria.
Acotó que nuestro Estado siempre será digno, poderoso y fuerte por tener a los grandes héroes como ustedes y nuestro ejército seguirá continuando la historia de gran victoria gracias a su fidelidad e ímpetu heroico particulares. Y deseó una gloria eterna a los oficiales y soldados heroicos quienes llevaron a la cima más alta y brillante la larga historia victoriosa de nuestro pueblo y la superioridad absoluta de las fuerzas armadas revolucionarias.
Conmovieron a los participantes las palabras del Secretario General llenas del ferviente amor y sinceridad del gran padre.
Todos los participantes dirigieron el máximo homenaje e infinita gratitud al Secretario General quien con su destacada idea militar y extraordinaria perspicacia estratégico-táctica aclaró las orientaciones de la victoria y con el amor y sentimiento paternales infundió la fuerza y coraje de aniquilar a los enemigos y hoy día califica de grandes héroes y patriotas a todos los combatientes.
Se transmitió el decreto del Presidium de la Asamblea Popular Suprema de la RPDC sobre el otorgamiento de Título de Héroe de la RPDC, órdenes y medallas a los miembros de mando y combatientes quienes hicieron proezas en las operaciones militares en el extranjero.
El Secretario General otorgó personalmente el Título de Héroe de la República a los competentes comandantes quienes condujeron a la victoria a los destacamentos combativos de las fuerzas armadas coreanas y a los militares quienes lograron proezas especiales en la zona de operación ultramarina.
Y puso con su mano la medalla de Héroe de la República al lado de los retratos de los mártires recordando con reverencia las imágenes y los últimos momentos de los mártires quienes dedicaron sin vacilación alguna su juventud y vida con la única fe y voluntad de ejecutar más cabalmente las órdenes de la patria.
Mientras se interpretaba la “Canción de la camaradería” que sintetiza la sagrada historia de la revolución coreana que inició y vino avanzando victoriosamente con el compañerismo, se escenificó un cuadro emotivo a registrarse para siempre en los anales de la patria transmitiendo el sentimiento consanguíneo entre el líder y los soldados.
El Secretario General guardó un momento de silencio tras colocar una ramita floral al pie de la pared memorial deseando que se guarde para siempre como eterna estrella de proezas en el recuerdo de la patria y el pueblo la vida valiosa de los mártires quienes glorificaron con su vida el prestigio y honor de nuestro Estado.
Los miembros del Buró Político del CC del PTC, los mandos del MINDEN, los comandantes militares y políticos de las grandes unidades combinadas del EPC y los familiares de los mártires depositaron las flores ante la pared memorial.
El camarada Kim Jong Un se encontró con los familiares de los mártires para consolarles compartiendo con ellos el dolor de la pérdida.
En la ceremonia de otorgamiento, el coronel general de fuerzas terrestres del EPC Kim Yong Bok, comandante de la unidad de operación especial, pronunció discurso de juramento en representación de todos los oficiales y soldados de las tropas de operación en extranjero.
Él expuso la emoción de tener gran honor de recibir la máxima condecoración de la República en la sede del CC del PTC, supremo Estado Mayor de la revolución coreana.
Hizo mención de que los miembros de sus destacamentos sintieron de corazón en el campo de batalla en extranjero la fortuna de tener al genial comandante y guardaron como su fe la filosofía de que salen siempre victoriosos si luchan según las instrucciones del camarada Kim Jong Un.
Todos los comandantes y combatientes de las unidades de operación en extranjero que son soldados fieles al gran camarada Kim Jong Un, soldados de guardia de la República e hijos del heroico pueblo coreano, defenderán a ultranza el prestigio del CC del PTC y preservarán firmemente el honor de la patria, el EPC y los coreanos hasta el día de repatriación, afirmó y tomó juramento de ser infinitamente fiel a la misión y deber del ejército del Partido, el pueblo y el Comandante Supremo, considerando como absoluta confianza la premiación de hoy.
El camarada Kim Jong Un volvió a expresar sincero agradecimiento y sublime homenaje a todos los oficiales y soldados de las unidades de operación en extranjero que con la gloriosa bandera nacional en su cuerpo respondieron a la confianza del Partido y la patria en nuestro ejército y ostentaron el gran honor del EPC en los campos de enconada batalla, y a los mártires heroicos que abultaron la historia invencible de nuestro Estado y ejército con sus méritos indelebles.

Состоялась церемония вручения госнаград командирам и бойцам зарубежных операционных войск КНА
Пхеньян, 22 августа. /ЦТАК/– Выдающийся боевой дух и доблесть Корейской Народной Армии, надежно продолжающей традицию всех побед чучхейской революции непобедимым оружием, вписывают в летопись беспрецедентные в истории легендарные героические страницы, прославляя могучие и священное достоинство нашего государства на вершине славы мира.
Бойцы вооруженных сил Республики, которые по приказу Центрального Военного Комитета Трудовой партии Кореи задействованы в зарубежной военной операции, продемонстрировали на весь мир несравнимые ни с какой армией мира, незыблемые и выдающиеся идейно-духовное превосходство и боевую хватку КНА, несгибаемый дух корейцев в ожесточенных, смертельных кровопролитных боях.
Церемония вручения государственных наград командирам и бойцам зарубежных операционных войск КНА состоялась в штаб-квартире ЦК ТПК.
По пламенному желанию и горячему зову товарища Ким Чен Ына, который хочет высоко ценить как героев великих продолжателей, представителей, надежно унаследовавших присущую нашему государству традицию победы в новом веке, преодолели десятки тыс. ли и прибыли во двор ЦК партии бойцы войны, которых горячо встретили руководящие работники ЦК партии.
Секретари ЦК ТПК и другие ответственные работники поздравили гордых сынов Родины, даря им цветочные ожерелья и букеты цветов.
На месте церемонии вручения госнаград царило торжественное чувство уважения к бойцам войны, безгранично верным приказу Родины.
Генеральный секретарь ТПК, Председатель Государственных дел КНДР уважаемый товарищ Ким Чен Ын присутствовал на церемонии вручения госнаград.
В церемонии приняли участие командиры и бойцы, отличившиеся в зарубежной военной операции, и члены семей павших бойцов.
Также участвовали члены ЦВК ТПК, ведущие командиры Министерства обороны и военно-политические командиры крупных соединений КНА.
Торжественно был исполнен Государственный гимн КНДР.
Торжественная мелодия Государственного гимна, который в дни решительного боя в каждый миг жизни удваивал гордость сына могучей Родины и горячий патриотический энтузиазм, толкая бойцов в авангард атаки и вдохновляя их на немеркнущие победы в бою, вселила в сердца бойцов войны сильное волнение.

Товарищ Ким Чен Ын высказал впечатление от того, что на таком знаменательном месте еще раз встретился со славными сынами и героями страны, которые являются большой гордостью нашего государства и которых ждет весь народ, присваивает им звание Героя КНДР и госнаграды высокой степени. Он от имени партии и правительства выразил искреннюю благодарность и самый горячий боевой привет командирам и бойцам зарубежных операционных войск КНА, которые и в огне судьбоносных боев за рубежом смело сражались, как подобает «корейцам» и «КНА», с великой честью и блестящими военными подвигами достойно вернулись на Родину.
Товарищ Ким Чен Ын отметил, что ЦК партии организовал торжественную церемонию вручения госнаград в штаб-квартире ЦК партии, чтобы высоко поставить перед Родиной и народом славных героев, которые совершили подвиги в бою за защиту священного авторитета и достоинства государства, и чтобы вся страна уважала и высоко оценивала их. Это особая и бесценная награда Родины и народа для славных победителей, совершивших великий подвиг, что не могли бы иметь в отрыве от кровопролитного сражения, – продолжал он.
Товарищ Ким Чен Ын упомянул, что на этой первой церемонии вручения госнаград вспоминаются бойцы, которые и сейчас прилагают все усилия к выполнению задач в поддержку приказа Родины, и павшие патриоты, и не может терпеть жалость от того, что невозможно встретиться со всеми на этом славном месте. И предложил почтить память минутой молчания с желанием бессмертия павших патриотов, отдавших ценную жизнь в зарубежной военной операции.
По предложению товарища Ким Чен Ына все участники почтили минутой молчания память павших участников операции, которые несгибаемым боевым духом и ценою жизни завоевали бесценную победу.
Товарищ Ким Чен Ын отметил, что все участники зарубежной военной операции, совершившие для вечного процветания и могущества Родины великие подвиги, которые будут вечно сиять в летописи Родины, являются великим человеком, великим героем и великим патриотом. Он с гордостью сказал, что победа участников войны представляет собой огромный подвиг. Ведь они же надежно защитили великую честь КНА, которой никак нельзя быть подорванной, и создали прочную гарантию для существования и развития нашего государства. Это же победа, которая как чудо вошла бы в страницу истории строительства нашей армии и антиимпериалистической революционной борьбы, и событие в истории мировой войны, вновь сформулировавшее логику сильных, которая передавалась в течение нескольких тысяч лет.
Товарищ Ким Чен Ын подчеркнул: в ходе боевой деятельности зарубежных операционных войск, которые представили вооруженные силы нашей Республики на поле войны, привлекшем к себе пристальное внимание мира, в полной мере подтверждена мощь героической КНА, одерживающей только победу на основе абсолютного превосходства идейного духа и чучхейской стратегии и тактики. ЦК партии придает наибольшее значение и удовлетворительную оценку тому, что честь всепобеждающей КНА выдержала самую строгую в своей 70-летней истории проверку, и что наглядно подтверждена полная готовность нашей армии к войне.
Сегодняшняя церемония является выражением чувства благодарности нашей партии, государства и народа, их высокой оценкой в отношении исторических подвигов бойцов, безупречно претворивших в жизнь политическое решение партии и правительства, принятое для судьбы и будущего Родины, и отстоявших великую честь, которую завоевали и защищали все поколения Республики, – трогательно сказал он.
Товарищ Ким Чен Ын отметил выдающуюся доблесть и благородную самоотверженность наших военнослужащих, проявленные в зоне операции под градом пуль и снарядов, называя их наилучшими героями, а зарубежные операционные войска – героическими войсками. Он подчеркнул, что основной ключ к победоносному завершению зарубежной военной операции заключается не в подвигах нескольких особых военных деятелей или героев, а именно в героизме массового характера и в том, что благородные и прекрасные духовно-моральные качества твердо господствовали в мысли и чувстве всех военнослужащих.
Товарищ Ким Чен Ын упомянул, что участники зарубежной операции как один проявили последовательность в исполнении приказа – основной миссии воина, горячую любовь к Родине и соратникам, самоотверженность и моральность, позволяющую быть преданным своему долгу и достойно, на совесть делать выбор даже в последний момент своей жизни. С такой незаурядной духовной чертой бойцы показали всему миру, чем сильна наша армия и в чем заключается главный фактор, позволяющий ей непременно одержать победу в любых боях, а это является очередным событием, запечатлевшим на скрижалях эпохи и истории понятие могучей армии и закон победы в бою, – сказал он.
Товарищ Ким Чен Ын подчеркнул: то, что имеется такая армия как первооткрыватель и защитник своего революционного дела, является гордостью и славой ТПК и правительства КНДР. Страна, которую защищает героическая армия, вечно сильна, а дело, в авангарде которого стоит героическая армия, непобедимо.
Товарищ Ким Чен Ын, касаясь важнейших мер, которые будут приниматься как государственное дело для вечной передачи подвигов великих участников войны, выразил уверенность, что отнюдь не кончатся путь славы, открытый кровью бойцов войны, и благородная жизнь павших бойцов, а кровопролитные бои вместе с их именами будут вписаны в летопись Родины как самые бесценные страницы.

Зачитан указ Президиума ВНС КНДР о присвоении командному составу и бойцам, совершившим подвиги в зарубежной военной операции, звания Героя КНДР, орденов и медалей.
Товарищ Ким Чен Ын лично присвоил звание Героя КНДР лучшим военным командирам, которые вели к победе боевые подразделения вооруженных сил Республики в операционной зоне за рубежом, и отличившимся солдатам.

На церемонии от имени личного состава зарубежных операционных войск выступил с речью решимости командующий спецназами, генерал-полковник сухопутных войск КНА Ким Ён Бок.
