On January 10, 2026, a rally was held in front of the U.S. Embassy in Athens, where citizens of Athens denounced U.S. aggression against Venezuela and expressed solidarity with the resistance of the Venezuelan people.
The demonstrators strongly condemned the United States’ interventionist and aggressive policies toward Venezuela, while affirming their support for the Venezuelan people’s struggle to defend their sovereignty and right to self-determination.
Greek anti-imperialist organizations and peace-loving people had already carried out a march toward the U.S. Embassy earlier, on January 3, protesting Washington’s hostile policies and escalating threats against Venezuela.
The protests reflect growing opposition within Greece to U.S. imperialist intervention and reaffirm international solidarity with the Venezuelan people in their resistance against foreign aggression.
