The World Anti-Imperialist Platform, together with the Communist Marxist Party of Kenya, co-hosted the 10th International Anti-Imperialist Conference and the International Anti-Imperialist Colloquium from May 9 to 10. On May 11, the delegation also participated in the Counter Africa-France Summit organized by PASAI.

According to participants, the protest march and demonstration on May 12 proceeded peacefully. However, Kenyan military and police forces fired tear gas and violently detained members of the international delegation.
