Protest Against Violence and Arbitrary Arrests of Peaceful Demonstrators in Nairobi
It is with indignation that we have followed the brutality exercised by the Kenyan government against peaceful demonstrators on May 12, 2026, as well as the numerous arrests that followed.
The West African Peoples Organisation (WAPO):
Salutes the bravery and determination of the peaceful and anti-imperialist demonstrators who dared to oppose the colonial France-Africa Summit in Kenya.
Addresses a strong protest to the Government of Kenya against the indiscriminate violence exercised against peaceful demonstrators.
Demands the immediate release of all detainees.
Demands reparations for all damages suffered by the victims.

Protestation contre violence et Arrestations arbitraires contre les manifestants pacifiques à Nairobi
C’est avec indignation que nous avons suivi la brutalité exercée par le gouvernement kenyan à l’endroit des manifestants pacifiques le 12 mai 2026 ainsi que les nombreuses arrestations qui s’en sont suivies.
L’Organisation des peuples de l’Afrique de l’ouest'( WAPO)
1- Salue la bravoure et la détermination des manifestants pacifiques et anti impérialistes qui ont osé s’opposer au Sommet colonial France Afrique du Kenya.
2- Adresse une vive Protestation au Gouvernement du Kenya contré la violence aveugle exercée contre des manifestants pacifiques.
3- Exige la libération immédiate de tous les détenus.
4- Demande réparation de tous dommages subis par les victimes.
