Congratulatory Letter on the Occasion of the 73rd Anniversary of the Victory of the Korean People against Imperialism in the Fatherland Liberation War

Comrade Miruna Pandele, in her capacity as Vice President of the Romanian Socialist Party, and Comrade Adrian Crăciunoiu, in his capacity as Central Committee Member of the Romanian Socialist Party, convey revolutionary greetings to the Korean people and to all participants at the Conference commemorating the 73rd anniversary of the Great Victory of the Korean people against American imperialism and against the puppet regime in the South of the Peninsula in the Fatherland Liberation War. July 27, 1953, represents a historic day and a milestone not only for the Korean people, but for the entire world communist and anti-imperialist movement. We must recall on this occasion that the war was started by the imperialist forces at dawn on June 25, 1950, who instigated the puppet army in the South to cross the 38th Parallel and violate the sovereignty and independence of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. This was the context in which the Korean People’s Army was forced to mobilize rapidly for a counteroffensive. The counteroffensive was successful, and within a few days, the greater part of the territory of the South was liberated from American imperialist occupation. Unfortunately, however, the situation changed dramatically in the autumn of 1950, following the imperialist landing at Inchon, when the imperialists came to occupy most of the territory of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. However, fortunately, the Korean People’s Army, led by Comrade Kim Il Sung, regrouped at the end of November 1950 and launched a counteroffensive to liberate the territory of the Fatherland. By the end of 1950, the entire territory of the DPRK was completely liberated, and then the frontstabilized around the 38th Parallel. All subsequent attempts by the American imperialist forces and their Southern lackeys to occupy the territory of the DPRK were firmly repelled by the Korean People’s Army, which held its ground and did not take a single step back. The last great battle of the Fatherland Liberation War was the Battle of Kumsong in July 1953, in which the American imperialists suffered a crushing defeat, forcing them to accept the signing of the armistice on July 27, 1953. Thus, the Korean People’s Army, led by Comrade Kim Il Sung, emerged victorious, and the American imperialists suffered one of the most humiliating defeats in their history, similar to the defeat they would later suffer at the hands of the revolutionary forces in Vietnam in 1975. The victory of the Korean people and the Korean People’s Army in the Fatherland Liberation War fully proved the correctness of Comrade Stalin’s assertion: “No army is invincible.“
In conclusion, we wish to recall here a quote from the Eternal President, Comrade Kim Il Sung, which is more relevant than ever: “Independence, peace and friendship are the noble, common ideals of humanity, and these serve as the basis for the unity of the peoples of the world in their struggle to make the entire world independent.” Comrade Kim Il Sung’s struggle to defend the sovereignty and independence of the Fatherland and to build a self-sufficient economy is an example for us, who currently have before us the fundamental task of crushing the neo-colonial yoke under which Romania finds itself, and of regaining the independence and sovereignty of our country. Comrade Kim Il Sung’s struggle for independence and national sovereignty is an example not only for us Romanian communists, but for communists around the world who fight to crush the odious imperialist system, in order to achieve global independence.
We, Comrade Miruna Pandele, Vice President of the Romanian Socialist Party, and Comrade Adrian Crăciunoiu, Member of the Steering Committee of the Romanian Socialist Party, honor the memory of Comrade Kim Il Sung and wish, on the occasion of this very important anniversary, to express our admiration and respect for the Korean people and for their glorious struggle against imperialism and capitalism, and for the construction of Juche-style socialism, which has transformed the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea into a truly independent and free country. On this occasion, we reiterate our firm commitment to fight unceasingly to defend the image of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea against the slanders to which it is subjected in our country by the propaganda apparatus subservient to Washington and Brussels. At the same time, we express our firm desire to fight by all means to strengthen the collaborative ties and friendship between the Romanian people and the Korean people.

Поздравительное письмо по случаю 73-й годовщины Победы корейского народа над империализмом в Отечественной освободительной войне

Товарищ Мируна Панделе в качестве Заместителя председателя Румынской социалистической партии и товарищ Адриан Крэчуною в качестве Члена Центрального комитета Румынской социалистической партии передают революционный привет корейскому народу и всем участникам Конференции, посвященной 73-й годовщине Великой Победы корейского народа над американским империализмом и марионеточным режимом на юге полуострова в Отечественной освободительной войне.
27 июля 1953 года — это исторический день и поворотный момент не только для корейского народа, но и для всего мирового коммунистического и антиимпериалистического движения. В связи с этим необходимо напомнить, что война была развязана империалистическими силами на рассвете 25 июня 1950 года, когда они подстрекали южную марионеточную армию перейти 38-ю параллель и нарушить суверенитет и независимость КНДР. Именно в этих условиях Корейская Народная Армия была вынуждена оперативно мобилизоваться для контрнаступления. Контрнаступление увенчалось успехом, и за считанные дни большая часть территории юга была освобождена от американской империалистической оккупации.
К сожалению, осенью 1950 года ситуация резко изменилась из-за империалистической десантной операции в Инчхоне, когда империалисты оккупировали большую часть территории КНДР. Однако Корейская Народная Армия под руководством товарища Ким Ир Сена перегруппировалась в конце ноября 1950 года и перешла в контрнаступление по освобождению родной земли. К концу 1950 года вся территория КНДР была полностью освобождена, после чего фронт стабилизировался в районе 38-й параллели. Все последующие попытки американских империалистов и их южных приспешников оккупировать территорию КНДР были решительно отбиты Корейской Народной Армией, которая держала оборону и не отступила ни на шаг. Последней крупной битвой Отечественной освободительной войны стала битва при Кымсоне в июле 1953 года, в которой американские империалисты потерпели сокрушительное поражение, вынудившее их подписать перемирие 27 июля 1953 года.
Таким образом, Корейская Народная Армия под руководством товарища Ким Ир Сена вышла победителем, а американские империалисты понесли одно из самых унизительных поражений в своей истории, подобное тому, которое они позже потерпят от революционных сил во Вьетнаме в 1975 году. Победа корейского народа и Корейской Народной Армии в Отечественной освободительной войне полностью доказала правоту утверждения товарища Сталина: «Никакая армия не является непобедимой».
В заключение мы хотели бы напомнить цитату вечного Президента товарища Ким Ир Сена, которая сегодня актуальна как никогда: «Независимость, мир и дружба — это благородные, общие идеалы человечества, и они служат основой единства народов мира в их борьбе за то, чтобы сделать весь мир независимым».
Борьба товарища Ким Ир Сена за защиту суверенитета и независимости Родины, а также за создание самостоятельной экономики является примером для нас, перед кем сегодня стоит фундаментальная задача сокрушить неоколониальное ярмо, в котором находится Румыния, и вернуть независимость и суверенитет нашей страны. Борьба товарища Ким Ир Сена за независимость и национальный суверенитет — это пример не только для нас, румынских коммунистов, но и для коммунистов всего мира, сражающихся против отвратительной империалистической системы.
Мы, товарищ Мируна Панделе, Заместитель председателя Румынской социалистической партии, и товарищ Адриан Крэчуною, Член Руководящего комитета Румынской социалистической партии, чтим память товарища Ким Ир Сена и желаем по случаю этой важнейшей годовщины выразить наше восхищение и уважение корейскому народу, его славной борьбе против империализма и капитализма, а также строительству социализма в духе Чучхе, превратившего КНДР в действительно независимую и свободную страну.
Пользуясь случаем, мы подтверждаем наше твердое намерение непрестанно бороться за защиту образа КНДР от клеветы, которой она подвергается в нашей стране со стороны пропагандистского аппарата, подчиненного Вашингтону и Брюсселю. В то же время мы выражаем решительное желание бороться всеми средствами за укрепление уз сотрудничества и дружбы между румынским и корейским народами.
Поздравляем корейский народ по случаю Годовщины Дня Победы над империализмом в Отечественной освободительной войне!
Да здравствует Демократическая Народная Республика Корея! Да здравствует Чучхе!
