On May 19, People’s Democracy Party in South Korea held an urgent demonstration in front of the US Embassy in Seoul, which comdemns the G7 summit.
Members chanted the slogan “Oppose G7 planning nuclear war!”, “Oppose Asian NATO calling nuclear disaster!”, “Stop nuclear war maneuvers against North Korea!”, “Down with pro-US pro-Japanese warmonger Yoon government!” and “Withdraw US bases, imperialist invader, the root cause of nuclear war!”
A representative of the People’s Democracy Party said “The attendance of Zelensky at G7 meeting in Japan Hiroshima is declaration of the war expanding Ukraine war in East Europe to war in Taiwan and South Korea in East Asia and proving the new World War.” and “The “reject change of the status quo”, which Kishida said, is political preemptive attack denying the “One-China” principle, interfering in the internal affairs of China, and provoking China.”
Thus, he established “Ongoing situation of world clearly shows who provokes China and North Korea” and “The situation of world is urgent and the time of our people’s fate is going very urgently, too. We condemn the imperialist war drive with the name of Korean people, and will down Yoon Suk-yeol pro-US fascist forces who are running recklessly scheming war.”
