Commanding officers of the Korean People’s Army (KPA) including Kang Sun Nam, Jong Kyong Thaek and Pak Su Il visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun on Tuesday on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.
The KPA commanding officers solemnly entered the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun with the pride and honor of significantly greeting the holiday of victors.
Floral baskets in the names of the Central Military Commission of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the Korean People’s Army were laid before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.
The participants paid high tribute to the statues of the President and the Chairman in reflection of the boundless reverence of all the service personnel of the armed forces of the DPRK.
The KPA commanding officers renewed their firm will to successfully carry forward the ever-victorious tradition of the DPRK and defend the all-people general advance for the overall prosperity of the DPRK with matchless military muscle, true to the idea and leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un ushering in a new era of a prosperous power.
