On the 17th, the People’s Democracy Party (PDP), Anti-US Struggle Headquarters, Anti-fascist People’s Action, and Anti-Japan Joint Action held an anti-fascist rally in front of the US Embassy in Seoul, South Korea.
The demonstration continued to shout slogans such as “Stop the US Freedom Shield against North Korea to invade!”, “Overthrow South Korean President Yoon, the war-monger, invasion alliance against North Korea!”, “Condemn the US imperialism behind the coup!”, “The Bolivarian revolution must win!”, “Remove all NATO bases around the world!”, and “Hands off Venezuela!”.
One of participants spokes “We support Venezuela’s self-reliant economy. We support Venezuela’s elections.” And “We condemn the US for trying to turn the world into a powder keg. We must continue our struggle. We must keep fighting,” he emphasized.

Let us put an end to US imperialism which is behind the pro-US and fascist coup!
The fascist forces in Venezuela are going on a rampage to turn the Venezuelan society into lawless zone by denouncing legal presidential election as illegal and attempting a coup. Recently, Venezuelan Attorney General Tarek William Saab mentioned that “Comanditos”, a criminal terrorist group organized by fascist opposition party, had murdered at least 20 people at the protest having called right after the election on July 28th. This group is a criminal organization linked to terrorists and drug trafficking, and the authorities secured more than 170 videos as the evidence relevant to it. Meanwhile, according to the report from the The Ministry of Justice, more than 600 criminal investigations including which into violent actions are ongoing. Regarding this, President Maduro pointed out that “violent forms have been seen for a few years by the right-wing group known as Guarimbas, which had great territorial reach with a criminal nature”.
The people’s government of Venezuela defines the far-right coup as a so-called “Color Revolution”. Attorney General condemned that “Venezuela has been experiencing a coup escalation never seen before.” He added that the fascist forces were imposing the “Color Revolution” by relying on US financial supports, and the US imperialism was manipulating the overthrow of the legitimately elected government. The Venezuelan government’s stance is entirely reasonable. The fact was exposed that 80% of the 2,000 people who were arrested for involvement in the recent violent protests had been trained in Texas by the US government. In addition, it was revealed that the fascist forces colluded with the drug trafficking paramilitary group of Colombia and the fascist government of Peru. Meanwhile, the Venezuelan government defined more than 30 million cyber attacks as a “Cyber-fascist coup” and declared that they would respond to it with creating the “National Commission against Fascism, Hatred and Violence”.
The US aggressive force is manipulating the fascists, smearing people’s government, and intensifying the hostile policy toward Venezuela. The White House is promoting black propaganda that President Maduro “did not open all detailed electoral data” or “the candidate of extreme-right opposition party Edmundo is real winner”. According to the statement of the Supreme Court of Justice, the ruling party PSUV submitted the required electoral material and the president-elect Maduro attended hearings. On the other hand, Edmundo from the opposition party neither submitted any electoral material nor complied with the summons order. More than 300 intellectuals, writers, journalists and political leaders openly rejected the coup attempts that aimed to overturn the results of the presidential election of Venezuela which was objectively and obviously legal. As of August 8th, 49 countries have recognized the results of legitimate elections of Venezuela.
We need to put an end to the US imperialism. The US has carried out maneuvers to isolate and suffocate the people’s power and has provoked “Color Revolutions” by manipulating fascists. To overthrow the people’s government of Venezuela, the US waged a ‘Economic War’ causing an economic crisis which was three times more serious than the Great Depression of the US. Furthermore, Venezuelan fascist forces repeatedly asked the US and Europe to apply more than 900 unilateral restrictions on Venezuela. The risk of ongoing far-right coup and “Color Revolution” is confirmed by the series of facts that after the Euromaidan coup – part of the “Color Revolution” – in Ukraine in 2014, massacres were committed in Odessa, Donbas, and other regions, and the war in Ukraine has been expanding to Eastern Europe. We must defeat the US aggressive force, then we can smash fascism and defend the people’s power. Justice-oriented Venezuelan people and the progressive people of the world will put an end to imperialism by the anti-imperialist joint struggle and bring forward new world of independence and peace.
