Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Convenes Consultative Meeting on National Defence and Security
Pyongyang, October 15 (KCNA) — Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, convened a consultative meeting on national defence and security on Oct. 14.
Present there were No Kwang Chol, minister of National Defence of the DPRK, Jo Chun Ryong, secretary of the WPK Central Committee, Ri Yong Gil, chief of the General Staff of the Korean People’s Army, Ri Chang Ho, deputy chief of the General Staff and director of the General Reconnaissance Bureau of the KPA, Ri Chang Dae, minister of State Security, and commanding officers of the Artillery Bureau, Detection and Electronic Warfare Bureau and other major bureaus of the KPA General Staff.
The meeting heard a report of the director of the General Reconnaissance Bureau on the general analysis of the case of enemy’s serious provocation that violated the sovereignty of the DPRK, a report of the chief of the KPA General Staff on the military counteraction plan, a report of the minister of National Defence on the measures for modernizing weaponry, a report of the WPK secretary in charge of munitions industry on the production of weapons and equipment, and a report of the minister of State Security on the situation of intelligence operation.
Kim Jong Un made assessments and conclusions on the information and suggested measures specified in the reports of different defence and security organs.
After hearing a report on the relevant work done by the General Staff and the major combined units’ combat readiness, he set forth the direction of immediate military action and indicated important tasks to be fulfilled in the operation of the war deterrent and the exercise of the right to self-defence for safeguarding the national sovereignty, security and interests.
He expressed a tough political and military stand of the WPK and the DPRK government at the consultative meeting.

Estimado compañero Kim Jong Un convoca reunión consultiva sobre ramas de defensa nacional y seguridad
Pyongyang, 15 de octubre (ACNC) — El estimado compañero Kim Jong Un, Secretario General del Partido del Trabajo de Corea y Presidente de Asuntos Estatales de la República Popular Democrática de Corea, convocó el día 14 la reunión consultiva sobre las ramas de defensa nacional y seguridad.
En ella participaron el ministro de Defensa Nacional de la RPDC, No Kwang Chol, el secretario del Comité Central del PTC, Jo Chun Ryong, el jefe del Estado Mayor General (EMG) del Ejército Popular de Corea (EPC), Ri Yong Gil, el subjefe del EMG y titular de la Dirección General de Exploración (DGE) del EPC, Ri Chang Ho, el ministro de Seguridad Estatal (SE), Ri Chang Dae, y los comandantes de los departamentos principales del EMG inclusive el de artillería y el de guerra de radar y electrónica.
Se escucharon en la cita el informe de análisis general del titular de la DGE sobre el grave incidente de violación de la soberanía de la RPDC cometido por los enemigos, el otro del jefe del EMG sobre el plan de acción militar de respuesta, el otro del ministro de Defensa Nacional sobre las medidas de modernización de los equipos técnicos militares, el otro del secretario encargado de industria armamentista del CC del Partido sobre la producción de armamentos y el otro del ministro de SE sobre el estado de la operación informática.
Kim Jong Un evaluó los datos y los criterios de medidas referidos en los informes de diferentes órganos de defensa nacional y seguridad y dio conclusiones referentes.
Tras escuchar los partes de los trabajos hechos por el EMG y el estado de los preparativos de movilización de las principales unidades combinadas, Kim Jong Un presentó el rumbo de las inminentes acciones militares. Y dilucidó las importantes tareas a ser mantenidas en la activación del disuasivo de guerra y el ejercicio del derecho a la autodefensa para defender la soberanía del país y su seguridad e interés.
También expuso la firme posición político-militar del Partido y el gobierno de la RPDC.

Пхеньян, 15 октября. /ЦТАК/– Генеральный секретарь ТПК, Председатель государственных дел КНДР уважаемый товарищ Ким Чен Ын 14 октября созвал совещание по делам обороны и безопасности государства.
В совещании приняли участие министр обороны КНДР Но Гван Чхор, секретарь ЦК ТПК Чо Чхун Рён, начальник Генштаба КНА Ли Ён Гир, заместитель начальника Генштаба КНА, начальник Главного разведывательного управления Ли Чхан Хо, министр государственной безопасности КНДР Ли Чхан Дэ, командиры главных управлений Генштаба, включая Управление артиллерии и Управление обнаружения и радиоэлектронной борьбы.
На совещании по делам обороны и безопасности государства были доклад начальника Главного разведывательного управления о комплексном анализе серьезной провокации нарушения суверенитета Республики со стороны врагов, доклад начальника Генштаба о плане ответных военных действий, доклад министра обороны о мерах по модернизации военных техник, доклад секретаря партии по делам военной промышленности о результате производства вооружений и доклад министра государственной безопасности о ситуации информационной операции.
Товарищ Ким Чен Ын оценил данные, отраженные в докладах разных органов обороны и безопасности, и мнения о соответствующих мерах, затем сделал вывод.
Товарищ Ким Чен Ын заслушал доклад о соответствующих работах Генштаба и боеготовности главных соединений, наметил направление очередных военных действий. Также он обозначил важные задачи, которые следует выполнить для применения сил сдерживания войны и пользования правом на самооборону для защиты суверенитета и интересов безопасности страны.
Товарищ Ким Чен Ын на совещании выразил твердую военно-политическую позицию нашей партии и правительства Республики.

敬爱的金正恩同志召开国防和安全协议会
朝中社平壤１０月１５日电 朝鲜劳动党总书记、朝鲜民主主义人民共和国国务委员长金正恩同志１０月１４日召开了国防和安全协议会。
朝鲜民主主义人民共和国国防相努光铁、朝鲜劳动党中央委员会书记赵春龙、朝鲜人民军总参谋长李永吉、朝鲜人民军总参谋部副总参谋长兼侦察总局局长李昌浩、国家保卫相李昌大、朝鲜人民军总参谋部炮兵局和探测电子战局等主要局的指挥员参加了协议会。
国防和安全协议会上，侦察总局局长做了关于敌人严重侵犯共和国主权的挑衅事件的综合分析报告；总参谋长做了关于应对军事行动计划的报告；国防相做了关于军事技术装备现代化措施的报告；朝鲜劳动党负责军工事务书记做了关于武器装备生产成绩的报告；国家保卫相做了关于情报作战情况的报告。
金正恩同志就各国防安全机关报告叙述资料和对策方案作出评价和结论。
金正恩同志听取关于总参谋部相关工作落实情况和主要联合部队动员准备状况的汇报后，指明当前的军事活动方向，提出了在启动国家防卫力量、行使自卫权来维护国家主权和安全利益方面的重大任务。
金正恩同志在协议会上阐明了我们党和共和国政府强硬的政治军事立场。（完）
