Press Statement of DPRK Permanent Representative to UN Office and Other International Organizations in Geneva
Han Tae Song, permanent representative of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to the United Nations office and other international organizations in Geneva issued the following statement on April 6:
The “resolution on human rights situation in the DPRK” that does not deserve recognition was forcibly adopted at the 52nd session of the UN Human Rights Council (HRC) on April 4, 2023.
The delegation of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) strongly denounces and categorically rejects the anti-DPRK “resolution on human rights” drafted by the U.S. and its following forces as an intolerable act of political provocation and hostility.
The “resolution”, unilaterally coerced by the U.S. and its following forces, is the most heavily politicized document of fraud which is full of such falsehood and fabrications as “denial of the right to information”, “arbitrary detention and punishment”, “social discrimination”, “abduction” and “surveillance of the private lives – the non-existent and non-exist-able phenomena in our society.
Moreover, giving impudent instructions on this and that about the laws of our state is an act of intolerable interference in our internal affairs and infringement upon our sovereignty. The laws have been adopted in conformity with the will of all the people to safeguard the sovereignty of the state and the safety of the people from the U.S. and other hostile forces’ outrageous attempts at overthrowing our system and their military threats.
The “resolution” is somehow composed of things that perfectly match with nightmarish human rights situation in the U.S.
Which country deceived the international community with fraudulent and false information and openly invaded sovereign states in the 21st century?
Which country is the police state where all kinds of hate crimes are rampant due to social contradiction and conflicts and black people writhe in pain as they cannot even breathe under the long arm of the authority?
Which is the unique “tapping empire” of the world that conducts nationwide surveillance permeating every second and every minute of its own citizens’ private lives, and even goes so far as to wiretap the phone calls by heads of other states, employing the most advanced means of reconnaissance and surveillance?
Which is the country with an anti-popular system where more than a million innocent people lost their lives due to failure of its anti-epidemic policy?
The U.S. is indeed the worst-ever human rights violator and the barren land of human rights and it should stand trial before the international community.
The U.S. is making desperate effort to isolate and stifle the Korean people by the unprecedented, inhumane and anti-humanitarian sanctions and blockade. Such being the case, it stands as an insult to the human rights, a mockery of human rights and an unpardonable crime against the human rights that the U.S. dares to pick on the human rights situation in our country.
Such a preposterous and uncivilized “resolution” running through with falsity and fabrication has been repeatedly adopted in the UN human rights mechanisms for more than 20 years. This tragic reality highlights once again the need for a reassessment of the international human rights debate.
Given that such a noble ideal as human rights had been reduced by the U.S. and the Western forces to an ideal “weapon” fit for their aggression, interference in the internal affairs and infringement upon sovereignty of independent sovereign states, the international human rights debate has lost its value – genuine promotion of the human rights.
The UN Human Rights Council is entrusted with an important mission to promote and protect the universally recognized human rights. But, instead of representing the common interests of humankind, it is now being misused for bloc-forming conspiracy of designating and attacking a specific country, subdued by high-handedness and arbitrariness of the U.S. and the Western forces. If it continues to go along this path, it will certainly be blamed by the whole world and will lose the very justification for its existence.
The anti-DPRK “human rights” campaign waged by the U.S. and a handful of its following forces in the UN by no means represents the public sentiment of the international community aspiring to justice and equality.
I take this opportunity to send a stern warning to south Korean puppet gang of traitors, a mere colonial servant of the U.S. even bereft of its national sovereignty, for its impudence to provoke our prestigious Republic with the human rights situation.
The DPRK will never tolerate any hostile act of the U.S. and its following forces encroaching upon our sovereignty and dignity, and will make every possible effort to defend the genuine people’s system and their rights.

Declaración de representante permanente de RPDC ante Oficina de ONU en Ginebra
Han Tae Song, representante permanente de la República Popular Democrática de Corea ante la Oficina de la ONU y otras organizaciones internacionales en Ginebra hizo pública el día 6 una declaración siguiente:
El día 4, en la 52ª sesión del Consejo de Derechos Humanos de la ONU quedó aprobada por la fuerza la llamada “resolución de derechos humanos” anti-RPDC que nadie reconoce.
La delegación de la RPDC condena categóricamente y rechaza totalmente este documento inventado por Estados Unidos y sus acólitos, calificándolo de la provocación política y acción hostil imperdonable.
A decir sobre esta “resolución”, es un documento más politizado lleno de mentiras, que no existen ni pueden existir en nuestra sociedad, como “violación de derecho a información”, “arbitraria detención y castigo”, “discriminación social”, “secuestro”, “vigilancia de vida privada”, etc.
Para colmo, el hecho de que se atrevieron a criticar nuestras leyes nacionales aprobadas por unanimidad del pueblo coreano a fin de defender la soberanía del Estado y la seguridad del pueblo frente a las tentativas de sabotaje del régimen y las amenazas militares de EE.UU. y otras fuerzas hostiles, resulta una injerencia en los asuntos internos y violación de autoridad.
Se avienen todos los artículos estipulados en la “resolución” con la situación de violación de derechos humanos de EE.UU.
¿Quién invadió en el siglo 21 a un Estado soberano engañando la sociedad internacional mediante la tergiversación y divulgación de informaciones falsas?
¿Cuál es un país policiaco donde se frecuentan los crímenes de odio de toda índole por la contradicción y antagonismo sociales y los negros se lamentan por vivir presionados por la coacción?
¿Cuál es el único “imperio interceptor” que vigila por cada minuto y segundo la vida privada de los habitantes, empleando los medios más sofisticados e intercepta hasta las comunicaciones telefónicas de los líderes de Estado de otros países?
¿Cuál es un país con el régimen anti-popular donde más de un millón habitantes resultaron muertos por el fracaso de la política antiepidémica de las autoridades?
Francamente dicho, EE.UU. es un país violador de DDHH de pésima calaña e infierno de DDHH que debe ser castigado por la sociedad internacional.
EE.UU., que intenta aislar y aplastar al pueblo coreano mediante las sanciones y el bloqueo de lesa humanidad sin precedentes en la historia mundial, se atreve a cuestionar el estado de DDHH en nuestro país, lo cual constituye insulto y burla a los DDHH e imperdonable delito de DDHH.
Vino adoptándose durante más de 20 años en la escena de DDHH de la ONU la “resolución” de este tipo, tan fraudulenta y tan absurda, hecho lamentable que exige la necesidad de reevaluar la discusión de este asunto en escala internacional.
Dado que debido a EE.UU. y las fuerzas occidentales, se ha convertido el ideal noble de DDHH en un instrumento de agresión más congruente para entremeterse en los asuntos internos de los Estados soberanos y violar sus poderes, el debate de DDHH en la escena internacional ya perdió su valor propio de fomentar auténticos derechos humanos.
Si el Consejo de DDHH de la ONU, que tiene la misión importante de proteger y promover los derechos generales del ser humano, se utiliza en las intrigas de la división en bandas encaminada a atacar contra un Estado específico, doblegándose como ahora a la coacción y arbitrariedad de EE.UU. y las fuerzas occidentales, en vez de abogar por el interés común de la humanidad, será el objeto de vituperación del mundo y quedará abandonado.
Tales alborotos de “DDHH” anti-RPDC no representan nunca la opinión pública de la sociedad internacional que aspira la justicia e igualdad.
Aprovecho esta oportunidad para advertir con seriedad a la banda traidora títere, que no pasa de ser sirvienta colonial de EE.UU. ni tiene el poder estatal, por la acusación atrevida de la situación de DDHH de la RPDC.
La RPDC no perdonará jamás cualesquier actos hostiles de EE.UU. y sus fuerzas seguidoras que atentan contra el poder y dignidad del Estado y hará todos a su alcance para defender el régimen y derechos verdaderos del pueblo.

Постпред КНДР в Женеве Хан Дэ Сон опубликовал заявление для печати
Постоянный представитель КНДР, аккредитованный в Секретариате ООН и международных организациях в Женеве Хан Дэ Сон 6 апреля опубликовал нижеследующее заявление для печати.
4 апреля на 52-й сессии Совета ООН по правам человека (СПЧ) принудительно принята так называемая «резолюция о правах человека» против Республики, которую никто не признает.
Делегация КНДР решительно осуждает и всесторонне отвергает сфабрикованную США и их сателлитами «резолюцию о правах человека» против Республики как недопустимую политическую провокацию и враждебный акт.
Данная «резолюция», односторонне фабрикованная США и их сателлитами, является самым политизированным мошенническим документом, проникнутым такими отсутствующими и невозможными в нашем обществе ложью и фальсификацией, как «нарушение информационного права», «самовольный арест и наказание», «общественная дискриминация», «похищение» и «надзор за личной жизнью».
Тем более они, неся всякие вздоры, даже придираются к нашим государственным законам, принятым по общей воле всего народа для защиты суверенитета государства и безопасности народа от незаконной попытки США и других враждебных сил к свержению строя и их военной угрозы наше государство. Это является никак непростительным вмешательством во внутренние дела и посягательством суверенитета.
Все пункты, отмеченные в «резолюции», точно совпадают со страшной ситуацией с нарушением прав человека в США.
Разве какая страна мошенничеством и лживой информацией обманула международное сообщество и откровенно вторглась в суверенное государство в 21-м веке.
Разве в каком полицейском государстве разгуливаются всякие ненавистнические преступления из-за общественного противоречия и противопоставления, а также негры не могут свободно дышать из-за насилий.
Разве какая страна является единственной в мире «империей перехвата», которая с использованием самых сверхсовременных наблюдательно-надзорных средств ежеминутно и ежесекундно наблюдает за личной жизнью народа своего государства и подслушивает даже телефонные разговоры глав других стран.
Разве в какой стране стоит у власти антинародный строй, где погибли более миллиона невинных граждан из-за неудачи противоэпидемической политики.
Именно США – крупнейшее государство-нарушитель прав человека, которое нужно предать суду международного сообщества, и бесплодные земли в области прав человека.
США, которые отчаянно пытаются изолировать и удушить корейский народ беспрецедентными в истории мира, самыми античеловеческими и негуманистическими санкциями и блокадой, осмеливаются придираться к положению прав человека в нашей стране. Это само по себе есть оскорбление и издевательство над правами человека, недопустимое нарушение прав человека.
Трагическая реальность нынешнего времени, когда на ооновской правочеловеческой арене в течение более 20 лет продолжительно принимаются невежественные «резолюции», проникнутыми ложью и фальсификацией, более подчеркивает необходимость переоценки международного обсуждения прав человека.
В такой ситуации, когда из-за США и сил Запада благородный идеал – права человека превратился в агрессивное средство, подходящее к вмешательству во внутренние дела самостоятельных суверенных государств и нарушению их суверенитета, обсуждение прав человека на международной арене потеряло свою ценность настоящего улучшения прав человека.
Если Совет ООН по правам человека, несущий важную миссию защиты и улучшения прав человека – общего права человека, не защищает совместные интересы человечества, а, наоборот, как сейчас, под произволом и своеволием США и сил Запада используется для интриг с позиции «врагов и друзей» против особо определенного государства, то он будет подвергаться нападкам всех людей мира и будет терять даже оправдание для своего существования.
Компания США и их ничтожных сателлитов в области «прав человека» против КНДР на ооновской арене отнюдь не представляет общественное мнение международного сообщества, стремящегося к справедливости и равенству.
Пользуясь этим случаем, серьезно предупреждаю то, что марионеточная предательская свора, которая является всего лишь колониальным прислужником США без своего государственного суверенитета, осмелилась придираться к ситуации с правом человека в нашей Республике.
КНДР будет ни в коем случае не допускать всяких враждебных актов США и их сателлитов, которые затрагивают суверенитет и достоинство КНДР, также изо всех сил стараться за защиту истинного строя и права народа.
