MILITANT SOLIDARITY WITH THE BOLIVARIAN REPUBLIC OF VENEZUELA AND PRESIDENT NICOLÁS MADURO MOROS AGAINST UNITED STATES IMPERIALIST AGGRESSION

The Communist Party Marxist Kenya extends its militant and unshakeable solidarity to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, to its heroic working people, to its patriotic armed forces, and to the legitimate Bolivarian Government led by President Nicolás Maduro Moros, in the face of the criminal military aggression unleashed by United States imperialism.
We condemn in the strongest revolutionary terms this barbaric attack on Venezuelan territory and population, targeting civilian and military sites in Caracas, Miranda, Aragua, and La Guaira. This aggression is a blatant violation of international law and a naked assault on the sovereignty of a free people. It is an act of war driven not by democracy or peace but by greed, plunder, and imperial arrogance.
Imperialism has not changed its nature. It still bombs in order to steal. It still kills in order to dominate. It still lies in order to justify crime. Venezuela’s so called offence is refusing to submit. Its real crime in the eyes of empire is independence, sovereignty, and the determination of its people to control their own oil, minerals, and future.
History speaks with clarity. From Bolívar and Miranda to Chávez and the Bolivarian Revolution, the Venezuelan people have confronted empires and defeated them. The same spirit that expelled colonial rule in the nineteenth century lives today in the barrios, in the factories, in the countryside, and in the ranks of the Bolivarian National Armed Force. As an African proverb teaches us, when spiders unite, they can tie up a lion. The unity of the Venezuelan masses is a force no empire can defeat.
We affirm without hesitation the full and legitimate right of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to defend itself by all necessary means. The activation of popular mobilisation, the arming and organisation of the people, and the fusion of the masses with the revolutionary armed forces represent the correct and scientific response to imperialist aggression. People’s power is not a slogan. It is a material force. It is the graveyard of imperialism.
The struggle of Venezuela is not isolated. It is part of the global struggle of oppressed nations against imperialism. The same forces that bomb Caracas loot Africa, impose sanctions, sponsor coups, and sustain comprador regimes across the Global South. An attack on Venezuela is an attack on all oppressed peoples. To defend Venezuela is to defend the right of all nations to self determination.
We therefore call upon revolutionary parties, progressive governments, workers, peasants, youth and student movements, and intellectuals across Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa, Asia, and the world to rise in active and militant solidarity. This is not a moment for neutrality. It is a moment for clarity, for courage, and for action. Imperialism must be confronted, exposed, isolated, and defeated.
Imperialism appears powerful but the people are more powerful. Empires look eternal until the day they collapse. That day is prepared by struggle, by organisation, and by revolutionary consciousness. As Comrade Hugo Chávez Frías taught the world, the correct response in moments of danger is unity, struggle, battle, and victory.
