The URC held a demonstration in front of the Ukrainian Embassy in France as part of the international action of solidarity with political prisoners in Ukraine.
The demonstration was held in market day, and a crowd was able to read their demands.
The demonstrators protested while holding placards bearing the slogans: “Freedom for Ukrainian political prisoners!”, “Stop the torture and murders in Vinnytsia Penal Colony No. 86!”, and “The colony director, Dmytro Petryk, is a fascist! Freedom for Alexandre Meinyk”
They left a letter addressed to the Ukrainian Ambassador at the door, which was immediately collected by a guard from the embassy. One minute later, the window of the Ambassador’s office opened, and he took pictures of the demonstrators.
