NKPJ/CARC/KO Solidarity with CPM-K General Secretary Booker Ngesa Omole

SOLIDARITY MESSAGE WITH COMRADE BOOKER NGESA OMOLE

The New Communist Party of Yugoslavia (NKPJ) and the League of Communist Youth of Yugoslavia (SKOJ) express deepest solidarty with the General Secretary of the Communist Party Marxist – Kenya (CPM-K), comrade Booker Ngesa Omole, after the unsuccessful assasination attempt that happened early this morning.

It is clear that the cowardly attack on comrade Booker Omole and other CPM–K comrades is not just a simple criminal act, but an attempt by the Kenyan burgeoisie to strike at the core of the revolutionary, communist and anti-imperialist struggle in this country. The attack is also a treacherous act against the working people of Kenya, as there is a high possibility that the orders came from the expelled, counter-revolutionary party members centered around Benedicht Wachira, who is known as a supporter of the criminal Kenya Kwanza regime.

NKPJ and SKOJ requests the criminal perpetrators to be investigated and brought to justice. Our Party and our youth alliance also call the working people of Kenya to protect not just comrade Booker, but also other members of CPM-K, who have, on numerous occasions, prooved themselves as the true vanguard of the Kenyan working class, being at the forefront of struggle against imperialism and capitalism.

Solidarity with the General Secretary of the Marxist Communist Party of Kenya who was attacked by an assassination squad this morning.

To those concerned

At the initiative we are holding in Florence on January 18 on World War III, African peoples to the uprising, imperialists in retreat in the context of World War III we will send a video forwarded to us by Booker Omole, General Secretary of the Marxist Communist Party of Kenya. The leader was attacked this morning by a team of assassins intent on killing him. The attempt failed. I enclose the statement from the Party’s Central Organizing Committee.

The attack follows the arrest of the Party chairman along with two other members, who were held in jail for a day and released following the finding that the charges were flimsy.

To the comrade and the entire Marxist Communist Party of Kenya goes the full solidarity of the CARC Party.

Until victory!

Hands off CPM-K!

On Saturday night, there was an attempted assassination on the life of Communist Party Marxist Kenya (CPM-K) General Secretary Booker Omole. Heavily armed men stormed his house. There was an exchange of gunfire, but fortunately the attack was repelled. An attack of this severity is an expression of the immense struggles currently taking place in Kenya and the central role Booker plays in them.

This weekend, like so many communists, we commemorated Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht. They were assassinated shortly after they founded the Communist Party of Germany (KPD) 1918 and after years of struggle in the labour movement. We know how valuable it is to have comrades at the head of our movement who are able to lead and orientate it and pass on their knowledge. Not only do we need many more of these comrades, but we also need to protect the ones we have!

The attack was followed by the violent abduction of the National Chairperson, Comrade Mwaivu Kaluka, alongside two other comrades. They where released after public outcry and legal intervention, nevertheless this clearly adds to the Kenya Kwanza regime’s desperate campaign to intimidate CPM-K. In the past many comrades of CPM-K were arrested or even killed. In the last months especially the leadership was targeted. Mwaivu was arrested just shortly after becoming the national chairperson of the Party and Booker was prevented from attending international meetings just to name a few examples.

CPM-K plays a leading role in the struggles against William Rutos neo-colonial Regime. Masses were mobilised during the Gen Z uprising this summer – CPM-K was working tirelessly to develop the uprising in an organised form. CPM-K leads the National Coordination Committee of People’s Assembly (NCCPA), a broad-based coalition of democratic forces dedicated to reclaiming Kenya’s sovereignty. The NCCPA is consolidating achievements from the Gen Z uprising and transforming these into tangible political instruments.

CPM-K has declared 2025 a decisive year for the struggle. We must support them, who lead the struggle against our common enemy – western imperialism. We shall learn from CPMKs efforts, educate about their struggles and connect with them! We send our full solidarity to Booker and the CPM-K!

Hands off CPM-K!

The Kenyan authorities must conduct a thorough and transparent investigation in the assassination attempt!

Down with Neocolonialism!

Long live CPM-K!
