President of Russia Vladimir Putin proposed direct talks with Ukraine without any countries.
On May 11 in Kremlin. President Vladimir Putin announced “We are set on serious negotiations to eliminate the root causes of the conflict on May 15, in istanbul” and “We do not rule out that in the course of these negotiations it will possible to agree on some kind of new truce and a new ceasefire.”
If the talks had been accomplished, it would be the first direct negotiation in about 3 years since last held direct negotiations in March 2022 in Istanbul.
He suggested this talks and emphasized “The authorities in Kiev interrupted the talks at the end of 2022″ and “Russia had proposed several ceasefires and want peace.”
