A great number of children are killed every day in different parts of the world including the Gaza Strip which has turned into a stage of global geopolitical conflicts and confrontation, a theatre of war and massacre. Such tragedy causes grave concern of the international community.
The emergency special session of the United Nations General Assembly on the question of Palestine in August 1982 decided to commemorate June 4 of each year as the International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression in memory of the Palestinian and Lebanese children victims of Israel’s acts of aggression. Over 40 years on, there is no arguing that many Palestinian children are now on the brink of extermination.
Since the outbreak of the bloody war by Israel in October 2023, brutal air raids and blockades by the Israeli murderers claimed more than 16,000 children’s lives including 900-plus infants in the Gaza Strip, and tens of thousands of children are suffering from hunger and diseases.
Those children who survived are tormented by constant depression and phobia. Many children amputated by Israel’s fragmentation shells cannot even hold a pencil nor romp around. This is the pathetic plight of the children in Gaza.
Many other children are losing their precious lives every day in grim wars in various parts of the world including Yemen and Syria in the Middle East.
Then who is the murderous mastermind obsessed with wars of aggression and destroying world peace and security?
It is imperative to denounce the neo-Nazi rogue states including Israel, a state of evil butchers inheriting the genes of savage killers that takes pleasure in slaughtering people. But what is more imperative is to expose and purge the wire-pullers.
They are none other than the U.S. and its followers. They instigate stooges to wage a war of genocide by regularly providing a lot of WMDs and intelligence. Furthermore, they directly conducted indiscriminate bombings against sovereign states in recent months. Nonetheless, they pose as an “apostle of peace”, advocating ceasefire and mediation before the international community.
The U.S. never fails to lurk behind conflicts and bloody disasters of all hues in today’s turbulent international situation, to say nothing of its past traces of tarring the human history with hundreds of wars. Therefore, all humanity and the international community should focus on striking a mortal blow to the U.S., the root cause of harming global peace and security.
Witnessing the stark reality of rampant wars and homicides and serious violations of the sovereignty of independent states and nations, the Korean people keenly feel that they will be subjected to suppression and massacre if they are not strong enough to defend themselves and that independence and justice, peace and security can only be safeguarded by matchless self-defensive capabilities and ever-growing power.
