US Forces Conducts Overnight Flight Operations in the Caribbean

The US Navy announced on social media on November 25 that it was performing overnight flight operations as part of its military activities in the Caribbean Sea.

A US Navy official announced the operations were taking place aboard the USS Gerald R. Ford, the world’s largest aircraft carrier, stating: “The flight deck never sleeps.” The United States is continuing to threaten Venezuela, heightening tensions in the process.

The US Department of Defense(War departure) stated that “US forces have already been deployed to the Caribbean region to support the Southern Command.“

This Air Force deployment coincides with the period when US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Caine, President Donald Trump’s top military advisor, visited Tobago. 

According to local press, General Caine, visited Port of Spain, the capital of Trinidad and Tobago, on the 25th to hold talks with Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar.

The US Embassy in Trinidad stressed in a statement that the focus will be on “the solid bilateral relationship between the two nations, strengthening regional stability, and the importance of eradicating illegal trafficking and transnational criminal organizations.“
