On Sep. 4th, a rally was held in front of the Consulate General of the “Republic of Korea (ROK)” in Milan, Italy.
The rally was organized by the CARC Party (Italy) and participated by the organizations including the Popular Resistance (Italy). The rally emphasized solidarity with the People’s Democracy Party, which is facing fascist repression under the Yoon Seok-yeol government in the “ROK”, and the abolition of the fascist evil law, the National Security Act.
In his remarks, Claudia Marcolini, CARC Party, Secretary of the Lombardia Federation, stressed that “the content of the warrants and the process of the search and seizure were very malicious and crude, aimed at bringing obstacles against the activities of party fighting for independence and peace,” and that “they are building an alliance with all organizations that are trying to prevent Third World War in the World Anti-imperialist Platform.” “Fascism induces, intimidates and suppresses, and when that is not enough, it attacks physically,” he added, saying that “we call for solidarity with the PDP in its fight against the fascist repression.”
Carlo Giustiniani, Popular Resistance Milan emphasized that “the people are confused by the information spread by imperialism,” that “we must stop fascism from distorting the truth and ensure our light reaches the people.” He stressed, “we must fight against fascism in all its forms.”
Mattia Cavatorti, CARC Party, International Working Group and Secretary of the local Chapter in Milan, said, “the US and NATO, which are starting 3 World War and committing genocide in Palestine, are now trying to carry out military operations in the Pacific against China and other Asian countries,” and called for, “where are the working people of the world? The previous Draghi government and the current Meloni government have mobilized the war measures and forced to neutralize the working people, but the people are already resisting and organizing.” “We must stand in solidarity with the People’s Democracy Party of Korea,” she added.
Next, Luciano Pasetti, CARC Party member and CUB union leader, spoke. He said, “We are standing here in Cabor Square to support our comrades in South Korea who are being repressed by their police.” He pointed out that “the “ROK” president, who talked about abolishing the 52-hour work week and not limiting working hours, is now trying to paralyze democracy.” He said “We must stand in solidarity with our comrades in the “ROK”, the country with the fourth highest number of worker suicides, where progressive forces cannot operate.” and emphasized the importance of international solidarity.
Afterward, the PDP’s Statement No. 558, “The doom of the fascist lunatic Yoon Suk-yeol is near,” was read in English and Italian.
After singing “International”, “Bella Ciao,” Milanese citizens spoke freely in solidarity with the PDP.
The Sep. 4th International Solidarity Rally with the PDP in Milan, Italy, was the first rally in Europe and abroad to condemn the fascist repression by the prosecutor dictatorship of Yoon Seok-yeol government on the PDP.

[Statement of the People’s Democracy Party]
The doom of the fascist lunatic Yoon Suk-yeol is near.
Yoon Suk-yeol, who is the president of South Korea, is carrying out a vicious fascist suppression against a constitutional political party. At around 7 a.m. on August 30, the National Security Investigation Division of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency raided the People’s Democracy Party (PDP)’s office and party members’ private residences, accusing the party of violating the National Security Act. The content of the warrant and the search process were extremely malicious and crude. The public security authorities made ridiculous allegations linking the PDP to the Corean Alliance for Independent Reunification and Democracy (Corean Alliance), which disbanded eight years ago and has no existence and has a completely different organizational purpose and composition. The authorities violently repressed party members who were detained in their homes during the search, even though they were not named in the warrant – completely illegal and anti-human rights abuses. With his fascist repression on the PDP, a constitutional party formally organized and recognized under due process, Yoon Suk-yeol has once again proven himself to be the worst fascist lunatic.
Yoon Suk-yeol’s fascist madness was already revealed through his reckless remarks on August 15 and 19, 2024. On the occasion of the August 15 Liberation Day of Korea, Yoon Suk-yeol recklessly spoke of “pseudo-intellectuals and demagogues as the anti-freedom, anti-unification forces that are blocking our progress” and “dark forces of instigation,” without a single word of rightful historical evaluation of the Japanese imperialist forces that brought pain and humiliation to the Korean people. On August 19, the day the Ulchi Freedom Shield war drills began, he warned of fascist repression, saying, “Anti-state forces threatening our liberal democratic system are operating covertly throughout our society”. For Yoon Suk-yeol, “Anti-Japan is the betrayal of the country” and the forces against foreign power and supporting independence are referred to as “anti-state forces”. This was already evident in August of last year, when he demolished a bust of anti-Japanese resistance during the period of Japanese occupation, Hong Beom-do, with the oxymoronic phrase “communist-totalitarianism,” and then framed the protesters against the water contaminated by the Fukushima nuclear accident as a “force calling 1+1 equals 100”.
The ‘public security’ oppression against a constitutional political party further convinces us that Yoon Suk-yeol is aiming for martial law. On August 12, Yoon Suk-yeol appointed Kim Yong-hyun, Chief of the Presidential Security Service and a former commander of Capital Defense Command, as his nominee for defense minister. Yoon Suk-yeol attempted to revise the enforcement decree to state that the Presidential Security Service would have command and supervision over the military and police used for security during Kim Yong-hyun’s term. However, in May 2023, as the possibility of martial law became a real concern and public backlash grew stronger, the decree was revised with a subtle change in wording. In April 2023, active-duty military personnel from the former Defense Security Command, who had been dismissed for their involvement in drafting the “Martial Law Review Document” during the regime of Park Geun-hye, the deposed former president, were reinstated to the “Counterintelligence Command”. According to publicly available information, Yeo In-hyung, Park Jong-sun, Kim Yong-hyun, and Lee Sang-min are part of the so-called “Chungam High School (Yoon’s high school) Line,” holding positions as the Commander of the Counterintelligence Command, the Commander of the Defense Security Agency, the Minister of National Defense nominee, and the Minister of Interior and Safety, respectively. Additionally, National Security Advisor Shin Won-sik, who is a year senior to Kim Yong-hyun at the Korea Military Academy, is effectively part of the same “line.” This indicates that Yoon Suk-yeol’s version of the “Hanahoe (fascist coup-plotting faction in the military in 1980)” faction has already been established.
What will Yoon Suk-yeol’s fate be in the imminent war situation? The storm of the Third World War caused by imperialism is blowing through Eastern Europe and Western Asia to the Western Pacific. Yoon Suk-yeol is prostrating himself before the Japanese militarists by “paying” for the Dokdo islands in accordance with the U.S. imperialist power’s strategy to provoke a war in the Western Pacific, and inside, he is viciously suppressing the patriotic forces seeking independence and peace, intensifying provocations for a war with the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea), and igniting a war in the “Republic of Korea (ROK, South Korea)”, which is a flashpoint for a war in the Western Pacific. In a situation where fascist groups, claiming to be the vanguard of U.S. imperialist aggressors, are facing defeat or struggling on various fronts of a potential Third World War, resulting in increasing isolation and crisis, Yoon Suk-yeol cannot be an exception.
Meanwhile, previous fascists in the “ROK” have met their end through assassination, impeachment, or imprisonment. Undoubtedly, Yoon Suk-yeol, the cause of war in the “ROK” and the provocateur of the Western Pacific war, will meet the most terrible and most miserable end of any fascist, and our people will make it so. The precedent of Park Geun-hye’s fascist regime, which dug its own grave by engaging in fascist repression of political parties and social organizations, proves that Yoon Suk-yeol’s downfall is near. Where there is oppression, there is resistance. Our people will unite in the struggle against Yoon Suk-yeol and U.S. imperialism, overthrowing the fascist warmonger Yoon Suk-yeol, defeating imperialist aggression, and advancing and achieving a new world of independence and peace.

La rovina del pazzo fascista Yoon Suk-yeol è vicina
Yoon Suk-yeol, presidente della Corea del Sud, sta attuando una feroce repressione fascista contro un partito politico costituzionale. Intorno alle 7 del mattino del 30 agosto, la Divisione Investigativa per la Sicurezza Nazionale dell’Agenzia di Polizia Metropolitana di Seoul ha fatto irruzione nella sede del Partito Democratico del Popolo (PDP) e nelle residenze private dei suoi membri, accusando il partito di aver violato la Legge sulla Sicurezza Nazionale. Le motivazioni contenute nel mandato e il modo in cui si è svolta la perquisizione sono stati estremante grossolani e intenti a causare danno all’organizzazione e sui membri. Le autorità di pubblica sicurezza hanno formulato accuse ridicole che collegano il PDP all’Alleanza Coreana per la Riunificazione Indipendente e la Democrazia (Alleanza Coreana), che si è sciolta otto anni fa, che quindi non esiste e aveva uno scopo organizzativo e una composizione completamente diversi. Le autorità hanno represso violentemente i membri del partito i quali, n modo completamente illegale e contrario ai diritti umani, sono stati trattenuti nelle loro case durante le perquisizioni anche se i loro nomi non erano inclusi nel mandato. Con la sua repressione fascista nei confronti del PDP, un partito costituzionale formalmente organizzato e riconosciuto a norma di legge, Yoon Suk-yeol ha dimostrato ancora una volta di essere il peggior folle e fascista.
La follia fascista di Yoon Suk-yeol era già venuta alla luce nei suoi commenti sconsiderati del 15 e 19 agosto 2024. In occasione della Festa della Liberazione della Corea del 15 agosto, Yoon Suk-yeol ha parlato senza ritegno di “pseudo-intellettuali e demagoghi quali forze contro la libertà e contro l’unificazione che bloccano il nostro progresso” e di “forze oscure dell’istigazione”, senza però spendere una sola parola riguardo la corretta valutazione storica dei misfatti delle forze imperialiste giapponesi, che hanno portato dolore e umiliazione al popolo coreano. Il 19 agosto, il giorno in cui sono iniziate le esercitazioni di guerra Ulchi Freedom Shield, ha preannunciato la repressione fascista affermando: “Le forze antistatali che minacciano il nostro sistema liberaldemocratico operano segretamente in tutta la nostra società”. Per Yoon Suk-yeol, “essere anti-giapponese è tradire il Paese” e le forze contrarie all’ingerenza straniera che sostengono l’indipendenza sono definite “forze anti-statali”. Questo era già evidente nell’agosto dello scorso anno, quando ha fatto demolire un statua della resistenza anti-giapponese risalente al periodo dell’occupazione giapponese, Hong Beom-do, usando l’ossimorica equazione “comunismo-totalitarismo”. Poi ha definito i manifestanti contro l’acqua contaminata dall’incidente nucleare di Fukushima come un “gruppo che dice che 1+1 fa 100”.
L’oppressione della “pubblica sicurezza” contro un partito politico costituzionale ci convince ulteriormente che Yoon Suk-yeol punta alla legge marziale. Il 12 agosto, Yoon Suk-yeol ha nominato Kim Yong-hyun, già capo del Servizio di Sicurezza Presidenziale ed ex comandante del Comando di Difesa della Capitale, come suo candidato a Ministro della Difesa. Yoon Suk-yeol ha cercato di rivedere un decreto attuativo per far si che il Servizio di Sicurezza Presidenziale avesse il comando e la supervisione dei militari e della polizia utilizzati per la sicurezza interna durante il mandato di Kim Yong-hyun. Tuttavia, nel maggio 2023, quando la possibilità della legge marziale è diventata una preoccupazione concreta e la reazione dell’opinione pubblica si è fatta più forte, il decreto è stato rivisto con un lieve cambiamento nella formulazione. Nell’aprile 2023, personale militare in servizio dell’ex Comando per la Sicurezza della Difesa, che era stato licenziato per aver partecipato alla stesura del “Documento di Revisione della Legge Marziale” durante il regime di Park Geun-hye, l’ex presidente deposto, è stato reintegrato nel “Comando di Controspionaggio”. Secondo le informazioni pubblicamente disponibili, Yeo In-hyung, Park Jong-sun, Kim Yong-hyun e Lee Sang-min fanno parte della cosiddetta “Linea della Scuola di Chungam” (dal nome della scuola superiore di Yoon), ricoprendo rispettivamente le cariche di Comandante del Comando del Controspionaggio, Comandante dell’Agenzia per la Sicurezza della Difesa, Ministro della Difesa Nazionale designato e Ministro degli Interni e della Sicurezza. Inoltre, il Consigliere per la Sicurezza Nazionale Shin Won-sik, che è entrato all’Accademia militare di Corea un anno prima di Kim Yong-hyun, è di fatto parte della stessa “linea”. Ciò indica che si è già costituita una versione di Yoon Suk-yeol della cricca “Hanahoe (cricca fascista e golpista dell’esercito nel 1980)”.
Quale sarà il destino di Yoon Suk-yeol nell’imminente situazione di guerra? La tempesta della Terza guerra mondiale causata dall’imperialismo sta soffiando attraverso l’Europa orientale e l’Asia occidentale fino al Pacifico occidentale. Yoon Suk-yeol si sta prostrando davanti ai militaristi giapponesi “pagando” pegno per le isole Dokdo, in ossequio alla strategia della potenza imperialista USA di provocare una guerra nel Pacifico occidentale e, all’interno del paese, sta reprimendo ferocemente le forze patriottiche che aspirano all’indipendenza e alla pace. Sta intensificando le provocazioni per una guerra con la Repubblica Popolare Democratica di Corea (Corea del Nord) e innescando una guerra nella “Repubblica di Corea (ROK, Corea del Sud)”, che è un punto focale per una guerra nel Pacifico occidentale. In una situazione in cui i gruppi fascisti, che sostengono di essere l’avanguardia degli aggressori imperialisti statunitensi, vanno verso la sconfitta o sono in affanno su vari fronti di una potenziale Terza Guerra Mondiale, con conseguente crescente isolamento e crisi, Yoon Suk-yeol non sarà un’eccezione.
Intanto tutti i precedenti fascisti della Repubblica di Corea hanno trovato la loro fine con l’assassinio, l’impeachment o l’incarcerazione. Senza dubbio quindi Yoon Suk-yeol, causa della guerra nella Repubblica di Corea e provocatore della guerra del Pacifico occidentale, farà la fine più terribile e più miserabile di ogni fascista e sarà il nostro popolo a fargliela fare. Il precedente del regime fascista di Park Geun-hye, che si è scavato la fossa con la repressione fascista dei partiti politici e delle organizzazioni sociali, dimostra che la caduta di Yoon Suk-yeol è vicina. Dove c’è oppressione, c’è resistenza. Il nostro popolo si unirà nella lotta contro Yoon Suk-yeol e l’imperialismo statunitense, rovesciando il guerrafondaio fascista Yoon Suk-yeol, sconfiggendo l’aggressione imperialista e avanzando e raggiungendo un nuovo mondo di indipendenza e pace.
